Chaos. Absolute Chaos broke loose after Chat watched the love of his life reduced to a statue before his very eyes. Alya was the next one that Chloe, now Trophy Bride, aimed the deadly beam at. She was just a hair too late at dodging and Chat had to catch her with his staff, get her on the ground where she could be safe, and drop his own weapon before the gold spread to him as well. Raven weaved through the attacks but he couldn't get close enough to even attempt to strike out at the akuma victim. Chat could tell that there was little to nothing they could do against her, not without Alya to distract her with Mirage, or Marinette's ability to cleanse the akuma. Even with the other male flying about with his extended reach weapon they couldn't touch her.

"Do you think you can keep her distracted?" Chat called out as Raven swooped down nearby him. The bird themed hero turned to give him a curious look before eyeing the raging golden girl who had taken to screaming about how it was all Ladybugs fault for not moving and how she just wanted to make sure her 'Adrikins' was safe and away from 'that baker girl'.

"I could try. Maybe find a nice little treat to wave in front of her." With his head, Raven motioned to a store nearby where Chat knew well there were cut outs of his other self ready to be sold alongside of perfumes, posters, and clothing. He didn't want to agree with the other male, that it was a great idea in the first place, but he didn't have time to sit there and argue with him. The gold that was covering Ladybug had spread to cover nearly the entire balcony of their new hideout, and he could see it seeping out from Rena Rogue in an awkward pattern across the cobblestone street. If they wasted their time trying to fight her head on they would only find themselves losing ground as all of Paris slowly was being covered in the substance.

Without another word between them, Raven swooped down to duck into the shop and Chat carefully dived through the skylight nearby. The inside of their hideout was succumbing to the golden spread, the ceiling and walls were already showing patches of it, causing Chat to hop and dodge as he made his way through the room once belonging to his girlfriend. He rushed down the stairs, where thankfully the gold hadn't reached from above, but soon found the gold from Rena Rogue was making its way through the bakery at the ground floor.

One well placed Cataclysm later, he was running down the street away from the battle. He didn't wait for his timer to run out, instead he found a safe secluded place as quickly as he could and released his transformation. He caught Plagg as soon as he materialized, and pulled the kwami in close to his face.

"Calm down kid-" Plagg began as he caught sight of the desperate look in Adrien's eyes.

"She talked about a 'he' all the time." Adrien cut off his kwami before he could complain that he was hungry. "She said 'he' gave Rena her miraculous, that 'he' helped her out a few times in the past."

"The master?" Plaggs eyes narrowed as he asked the question.

"The master, yes, I'd bet my life that's him." Adrien pulled his eyebrows together in thought as he held a chunk of his kwamis favorite cheese out to him. "I need you to show me to the master. We need help." Plagg hovered before him as he chewed on a bite of cheese and pondered his words. Without Ladybug they wouldn't be able to cleanse the akuma in the first place, but that didn't mean they couldn't reverse the effect long enough for her to do her job.

"Follow me Kid." He said as he turned quickly to dart back the way Chat had ran from. Adrien was confused for a moment before he darted down a side street and cut through an alleyway. They were now headed away from the battle once again, but in a different direction than where Chat had fled to.

They continued on in this manner, with Plagg ducking down an Alley, or cutting across a street only to backtrack down it, until Adrien wasn't quite sure where he was. A small massage parlor and therapy center ended up being Plaggs destination, and he phased through the door before unlocking it and opening it for Adrien from the inside, much like he had done to the safe in Gabriel Agreste's office a year or so before.
