It has been about two years since Akiri Shiranobu, along with Kiana Kaslana, Mei Raiden and Bronya Zaychik been enrolled at St. Freya Academy and became official Schicksal Valkyries.
After the events in Singapore, their days as Valkyrie trainees were rather underwhelming, compared to what they've been through before.
Sure, they were deployed to missions every once in a while, repelling Honkai attacks amongst other mundane tasks, but none of those missions are anything noteworthy to them.
Most of their days are spent at the academy, studying and training to develop their skills. Overall, it was a rather peaceful time for them.
However, things are looking to take a turn for them, a new complication arises for the Valkyrie trainees to confront...

Himeko: (coms) Coms check. Akiri, can you hear me?
Akiri: Reading you loud and clear
Himeko: (coms) Good. We're in a hurry, so I'll just run it by you briefly, listen up
Currently, B-rank Knight Akiri Shiranobu is on a helicopter flying high above Soukai City as down on the city streets, a horde of Honkai beasts is seen wreaking havoc all across the city.
Himeko: (coms) About half an hour ago, an unidentified battleship had entered Soukai City's airspace. We don't know how, but it managed to avoid radar detection until it had stopped just above the middle of the city
Major Murata Himeko's voice is heard through his earpiece placed in his right ear.
Himeko: (coms) Not long after, it started to emit a powerful surge of Honkai radiation, and Honkai beasts started to appear all over the city because of it
Akiri: What about the civilians?
Himeko: (coms) Most of them are already evacuated, but we still suspect that there are some unable to escape. Your mission, for now, is to eliminate as many Honkai beasts as you can
Akiri: Shouldn't we be going for that battleship instead? If it's attracting the Honkai, disabling it should be top priority
Himeko: (coms) I know. We're just analyzing the ship to make sure it's safe enough for any of you to board it. Until we do that, no one is allowed to be anywhere close to the ship
Akiri: Copy that
Pilot: We're approaching the designated area
The pilot announces as the helicopter is slowly descending, approaching the streets of the city and the door slides open as Akiri looked below to see the chaos and destruction the Honkai beasts are causing.
Akiri: That's a lot of Honkai beasts... Are you sure that splitting up the squad is a good idea?
Himeko: (coms) There's no helping it. The Honkai beasts are spread out all over the city, and we don't have enough Valkyries to deal with them at such short notice. HQ is sending reinforcements, but that will take some time
Akiri: Right... I'm heading off
Himeko: Good luck out there
Pilot: Where do you want me to land it?
Akiri: Just keep it hovering here
Pilot: Huh?
Without another word, the boy jumped off the aircraft and he started plummeting down towards the ground.
