The smuggler's moon... Watch where you step kids. You might get some scum stuck to your shoe." Sterling remarked as he disapprovingly took in his surroundings.
"Surely it can't be all bad?" Opilio didn't mind what she saw.
"Well, it's a real hotspot for shore leave. Take that as you will." Jorgan remarked.
"Come on, let's find Yuun." Opilio cut the chatter as they ventured through the neon-lit skies of Nar Shaddaa on their Republic transport. The light of the sun had long been lost to the smog and pollution created by the artificial lights; yet the moon was as vibrant as a supernova of rainbow. They were dropped off at a small Republic HQ and taken to a lab. Inside, a male Gand whittled away at a small device.
It jumped in surprise when havoc entered the room and plodded over to them and held out a small chip to the Commander. He was a male with blue, fly-like eyes and purple layered skin. He had a breathing mask that spanned over his face and neck and reached down his spine. Opilio looked to her peers before shrugging and inserting it in to her wrist-slot. A synchronisation began with her armour, before a voice spoke to her. "Can you hear me Commander?" It asked.
"Yeah... Is that you?" Opilio pointed at Yuun.
"Indeed." The Gand nodded at her.
"The hell's he saying?" Jorgan looked angrily at his CO.
"Just hello." Opilio retorted.
"Oh, wonderful. They don't speak basic." Sterling sighed as he facepalmed.
"Inform your allies they will receive a data device soon. The Gand language has only recently been translated in to basic." Yuun noted.
"Yuun says that if you're both nice, you can get some later. His language has only recently been translated and isn't on the list of translated languages for us. Anyway, I can just tell you. So, Yuun. What are we up against?" Opilio was fed up with the insubordination.
"Imperials are using this entire factory section here to ship and manufacture high level ordnance. They are fuelling darkness in this galaxy. We must stop them, or the light of countless eyes will fade." Yuun explained.
"Uh huh..." Opilio slowly nodded. She wasn't much of a poet.
"The way the Commander walks is foggy and full of thorns. Gand knows the way. Gand will assist Commander in saving the stars." Yuun bowed.
"Why's he bowing?" Jorgan asked in a deadpan tone. Sterling shrugged.
"Time dissipates back to the void... The stars are in jeopardy... The Commander must go!" Yuun revealed.
"Are you serious? You have told us nothing new!" Opilio protested. "Fine. You know what? Move out Havoc. We'll blow the whole place to bits if we have to." Opilio put her helmet on and left the room, followed by her confused squadmates.
"Wasn't a big part of this mission like, not blowing it all up? And not having a diplomatic incident?" Jorgan reminded Opilio.
"Jorgan. Wouldn't you like the diplomats and the bureaucrats to clean up our mess for once rather than the inverse? Hm?" Opilio snapped.
