Havoc Squad's ship touched down in Anchorhead spaceport – one of the few areas of the planet that was allied with the Republic. The squad wasted no time in striding through the spaceport – heading straight for the speeders. Each of them loaded their bikes with the location of Fuse before speeding off in to the desert dune; not a word shared between any of them.
They arrived at the settlement. It didn't look like much. At least from here, anyway. Opilio gave the order to move in as she drew her blaster rifle, leading the cautious move forwards – a long dark shadow hung down from the sun as they passed by the huge bone-carved pillars that marked the territory of the raiders. As they came around the corner of the huge cliff which sheltered the camp, they saw a whole legion of Tuskens aiming their rifles at them.
Opilio stood straight, staring them down as they all chanted and yelled at Havoc with what were presumably threats – Opilio didn't care. Her squad mates looked at her while keeping their blasters ready. Opilio hadn't moved a muscle. She held her weapon down in her right hand as her left fist remained clenched in a patient fury. As she knew, a chief would always lead their tribe in to battle.
The Tusken legion parted like a split sea as their chief walked through – towering over them as he did so. His garbs were red with what may well have been gallons of blood and his robes were marked with signs and insignias that were no doubt trophies of conquest. He stabbed his spear in the floor and pulled it out before stabbing it in once more. He continued a rhythmic chant that the whole clan joined in. As he did so, Opilio flicked a switch on her rifle with her finger.
The chief raised his arms, ready to send his tribe in to battle, facing his men as he led the chant. He turned with his staff raised – a beam of light raced through his skull as his head exploded in to a fountain of bone and brains. The sound of the railgun came half a second after as its roar echoed throughout the dunes. The Tuskens were stunned in to statues as Opilio gave the order to open fire – Havoc mowed them down in mere seconds. The tribe stood no chance.
The Havoc members reluctantly accepted the orders of their C.O, the fresh trauma of Nar Shaddaa still on their minds. They didn't need any more. Stepping over the bodies of the tribe, they made their way in to the caves that housed Fuse's co-ordinates. Curiously, there was a blast door with Imperial security not too far in to the cave. The woman and children cowered in fear at the Republic conquerors as they paid them little mind.
Yuun hacked the door and Havoc sprung inside, quickly dispatching the few Imperials lurking inside. The Imperials they struck down were loading crates marked with a sign of high explosives – Fuse's work. They searched the area for their target but couldn't find him. As far as they could tell, this was just a huge warehouse housed in a Tatooine cliff. That was, until Yuun found him.
"Commander – I have located the target!" Yuun called out to Opilio. The Commander ran over as Yuun accessed the Imperial cameras – there he was. Fuse was sat alone in what looked like a cell, huddled in the corner.
"Good work." Opilio patted his shoulder.
"He is deep underground in this facility. The encryption for his cell is complex... it will take time to reach him." Yuun explained. As he did so, he moved the camera to survey more of the room. Fuse realised this and stood up, approaching the wall of his laser-cell as he stared the camera down.
