Us vs Emotion
There are some great ingenious individuals among us with solutions to every day problems. Many of them have dealt with criticism or flat out insulted for their ideas, sometimes be friend or family.
Tesla was one of these people, an inventor toying with electricity. Discovering the natural energy in the ground was able to use it with a ground spike to power a lightbulb. He figured in time all could have free electricity. Of course those that controlled the sale of electricity were not impressed. While playing with copper coils and electricity he created a device that shook the building they were in, effectively creating a man made earthquake. The man obviously had ideas like no other, however he died young and broke. Many conspiracy buffs believe he was assassinated for his ideas on free electricity. Others thought he was killed by government agencies for the earthquake causing device.
People can be too quick and harsh in judgments of others. If Tesla lived longer and had people willing to financially back him I feel we'd be living in a better world now.
The world we all share requires only we respect another's ideas or faith. As long as they're not physically or mentally hurting others what does it matter how they conduct themselves.
We all know what it's like to judge others and be judged ourselves by others. The hypocrisy inherent in most human beings needs to be addressed and curbed. The old do as I say not as I do doesn't wash anymore.
Some of the worst of it comes from schools and religions.
In schools we learn young about 'school spirit'. This pride in our school becomes problematic when sports teams play other schools. Teaching youth they are or have to better than the other team by winning. Rarely do people look a loss as a learning moment. For coaches they know where their team and/or members need to improve.
In the streets this 'school spirit' can be taken too far by putting down other schools or the students within. Which can lead to vandalism, threats or fights.
We as adults carry this forward in life with out communities, country or professional sports teams.
The foolish acts of violence and destruction displayed at sporting events over the past twenty years is out of hand. When I hear of fans attacking rival fans or tearing up the streets after a loss I want to take those teams away from them. Suspend the whole team for the remainder of the season, like taking a toy away from two children that are fighting over it.
I think the worst side of hypocritical humans comes from religion, especially those that never study their denomination and figure they are because they are born into it.
Religions need to step up their beliefs by discussing the similar beliefs shared in all. Which is basically, do good for family and friend. Live a simple and moral life.
Religion, to me, was created by parents trying to explain to children what life is about and why we try to do good things with it. Over time they evolved into cults.
Personally I think the idea religion is Buddhism. I feel the only true religion out there is Jewish, and over human history can't recall a time they started a war. Catholic religion seems almost cultish especially with their rituals.
Two of the main religions I have a problem with as they were created by powerful men, not spiritual leaders or a Deity, Muslim and Christianity. In both their flocks go too far when thinking they are right and dare force their ideas on others. I will say with our modern world Christianity makes better sense for Allah/God fearing folks.
The main religions all say there is only one great creator. My logical mind says how can one create themselves. If that's true I prefer what the indigenous peoples of the world think, Mother Earth is the Deity we should be worshiping and taking care of, not raping and defacing her. Don't blame her for causing natural disasters to get us humans off her body.
