What my mother told me made me dizzy. The mobile slipped from my hand and landed on the rug where Caleb was sitting previously.

"What is wrong with you people? Are you even my parents?" I shouted as I took the phone back and talked to my mother or more like shouted.

"Mom are you freaking mad? How can I marry someone so suddenly? Just for the sake of some criminal. Please tell me this is some kind of joke. How am I going to find someone I don't know mom" I said tears pooling in my eyes, my vision getting blurry by the minute. I really doubt if they were my parents. What has gotten into them. I cut the phone and ran to my room.

I'm in no situation to listen to my mom. What are they even looking. Is it some kind of a dream. Just because I have to change my last name I have to get married so that the killer will not expect such a thing and he will be reckless. I sat in the floor with my head on the bed and cried. I felt some shake my shoulder.

Caleb's POV:

She ran to her room crying after she cut the call. I knew about the marriage plan to avoid any further attacks. It was the only way to cover her identity without raising any doubt.

I don't know how she is going to react if she comes to know about who is going to marry her.

I didn't follow her because may be she needs some alone time. But may be she needs someone to be with her because she is far away from home.

I took a bottle of water and went to her room which is opposite to mine. I opened the door and switched on the light. She was sleeping.

I went and shook her hand gently to wake her up. She lifted her head and blinked her eyes till they adjusted to the light.

Katlyn's POV :

I squinted my eyes and blinked them till my eyes adjusted with the brightness of the light. My head was pounding due to crying. Caleb stood in front of me with a bottle in his hand.

He sat beside me and pulled a drawer from the table beside my bed. He took out a Tylenol bottle and put two tablets in my hand and handed me the bottle. How did he know that I had a headache??

"You OK?" he asked. "I don't know" I said my eyes pooling with water. "It's going to be ok" he said and patted my hand.

"When is it going to be OK Caleb. How am I going to marry someone whom I don't know. I'm so young " I said my eyes welling up.

"Hey its going to be OK. If I tell you this you may feel better or worse. Do you want to hear it" Caleb said as he took my hand in his. What can be more worse than marrying someone. Oh god he could be a some old person. He could be a very bad person. Oh god..

"Hey, I think your are not in a mood to listen or talk to me. I'll talk to you tomorrow" he said and got up to leave.

"No stay. We'll talk. Tell me what you wanted to tell" I said and patted the place beside me. I wiped my face and took the tablet and put the glass on the table beside the bed.

He sat beside me and leaned His back to the headboard." It's about what your marriage" he said running a hand through his hair. "What about it?" I asked frowning. "The person you are going to marry is me" he said rubbing his hand at the back of his neck nervously.

I'm sorry for the late update. I finished my finals on may 15 then I had to attend my sisters engagement party in an other state and stayed there. Then i had my bday on June 10. I also work so I had to take a leave for all those days. When I came back there is this huge pile of work which left me with no time to get back to you guys . so sorry. I'll update much faster.
