Chapter 14

Thank you for the wait roses

I got up and answered my phone. It was my mom. "Yes mom... Yeah we were just leaving the house.... Sorry we are late.... Call him and tell him that we'll be fifteen minutes late... yeah we just had someone here... We cannot send her off before she goes by herself right...yeah we are leaving.... Take care... Bye" I said and ended the call.

"We got to run. We are late and my mom is panicking. Come on let's go" I said frantically and took my sling bag as Caleb opened the door for me.

"How are we going?" I asked as we closed the main door. "My bike, that is if you don't mind" he said. "I'm fine with it let's go" I said excited to get on a bike.

He opened the garage and came out with a sports bike. The bike was fabulous. He revved the bike. Adrenaline was pumping. I sat on the bike and put on the helmet. "Hold on tight" he said and I put my hands around his torso and hugged him from behind. I could feel his muscles twitch under his shirt as heat radiated off his body and the feeling of riding on a sports bike made my day.

We stopped at a building and got down. "Is this the building?" I asked giving him the helmet back. "Yeah and I want to talk to you about how we are going to present our selves before any stranger here" he said standing close to so that no one can hear us.

"We are going to keep our names same but our surnames will be changed. We should appear really close and totally in love in front of them. Got it Kat" he said took a step back. I took a step forward, got closer so that our chests touched and put my arms around his neck "there is some guy in designer wear looking in our direction " I said smiling totally getting into my role instantly. I could get an Oscar for it but I sure did love the way we were standing with his hands on the my waist.

"Oh OK hold my hand all the time. We'll go inside now. We are late alrady" he said as he took my hand in his and we walked past the designer wear man.

"Excuse me" someone called from behind. "Yes" Caleb responded."Are you the couple who are getting married the day after?" He asked. "Yes we are" I said as he approached us."Oh nice meeting you. I'm the personal assistant of Mr. Rick, your wedding planner, John. Come this way I'll take you to our office " he said shaking hands with Caleb and me. "Sure" Caleb said and we followed him to the elevator and got down at the forty sixth floor. How many floors does this building have??

We entered the floor and we were led to a room with a name plate saying Mr. Rick. There sat a handsome guy at the head of the table. He looked tall and muscular but not as good looking as Caleb. Where did that come from?

"Hello I'm Rick" he said introducing himself.

We entered the wedding planners office. He was sitting at head of the table. He came around the table,took my hand and kissed it and without leaving my hand. He went and pulled a chair for me. But Caleb didn't give me a chance to sit on it as he thought his lap was much better. He pulled me and sat me down on his lap. I let out a small yelp, surprised.

He put is hand around me. His breath was hitting my neck under my ear. My heart was beating against my chest. "So what do you guys want to change about your wedding" Rick said with a frown. Why is he frowning?

"Actually why don't you give us an out look of the plan because I didn't check my mail yesterday because I was busy so I barely know anything about it to make any changes" I said. Suddenly Caleb tightened the hand on my waist. I looked at him and he had his jaw clenched.

"Oh that's fine. I'll show it to you now" he pushed his laptop towards us and explained the whole theme being white like a proper Christian wedding but some lights around the flowers.

"Actually I would like to add something more to it. I want the lights all over the place  half hanging from the ceiling above the front area where the couple are. Change it to white and red theme. I want red roses and white roses together. I want red and white satin cloth draped along" I said to Rick. "Your the type of girl who knows what she wants. I like that girl" John said smiling hugely.

"Yes she sure does know everything expect for choosing her man" Rick suddenly mumbled I heard him. I turned to Caleb and his face was turning red by the minute.

Oooops.....bad move Mr. Wedding planner
