Chapter 5

We went inside and Liam was sitting in bed his arm with a huge bandage.

I gave him a hug and kissed him on the cheek.

"How is your hand? " I asked him looking at the bandage.

"Its fine nothing unbearable as of now but it may sting a little as the pain killer effect wears off." He said .

"I'll just make some calls. I'll be back" I said pointing to the door. I left because I thought they should get some privacy but partly it was true because I need to talk to Roy also because I'll be leaving to the airport in an hour or so.

I called Roy. "Hey" I said to Roy.

"Hi babe missed me huh" he asked laughing.

"Actually I have something to talk to you about. Its really important." I said biting my lip. A habit I have when I'm nervous.

"What is it? Where were you at lunch and after school?" He asked.

"I'm breaking up with you Roy" I said as a tears rolled down from my eyes.

"Why? What? What happened? Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry baby." He said worry in his voice.

"Its not you Roy its me. I'm leaving from Texas on vacation kind of thing. But it is because I was attacked when I went out to have lunch. Liam saved the day. My parents insisted on going on a vacation. I don't believe in long distance relationships Roy." I said crying.

"But I'll wait baby. I'll wait till you come back. We can work it out please." Roy said.

"But I don't know when I'll be back Roy . I don't want you to wait for me. I don't want to tie you down. Please don't make it tough for me. You can always be my friend. OK." I said crying silently.

"It's ok Catlyn I'll always be your friend. Take care babe. Be careful. Call me when you reach there and let me find out if my friend has reached safely or not OK." He said sadly.

"Thank you Roy. I'll sure call but may be from a new number. I'll call you after two to three days after I get my new phone. I have to go now I need to leave for my flight in half an hour. Take care" I said ending the call.

Wiping my tears I went to the hospital wash room and wiped my face with tissues and went back to Liam's hospital room. As I slowly opened the door stealthily and peeked in and saw Emma and Liam's heavily making out Emma was straddling him on the bed and Liam was in the same position where i saw him last but I had to interrupt because I have leave soon and I want to spend some time with him.

"Guys sorry to interrupt but Emma does he know I'm leaving ?" I asked Emma as she got off him and sat beside him blushing deeply.

"Yes sis I think its for the best. But how can you be alone somewhere you don't know. After all this happened you cannot go anywhere without protection" he asked taking my left hand into his looking worriedly at me.

Emma got a call so she was on it.

"It's fine Liam don't bother. Mother will take care. You take care of your hand and spend some time with her. She loves you a lot." I said squeezing his hand.

"Mrs Ashford has set up protection there. She said you will be received by a man there who will be your bodyguard and he'll be living with him in a normal house she said he will explain everything." Emma said to me.

"Thanks Emma.OK guys I'll leave now. I'll call you when I reach there. I'll miss you both. I love you bro." I said as I hugged both of them left the room to the car that awaited me to drop me at the airport. I got into it took my tickets and passport.

I arrived at the airport, checked in and got into my plane to Paris 'the city of love.' I fell asleep as I was tired from the event full day.
