'Out of service.'
"Great." Mary sighed, throwing her hands up in the air. The elevator was broken; meaning she had to walk up 5 flight of stairs until she reached her apartment floor.
-
When she finally got to her apartment, Mary unlocked the door and walked in.She wiped the thin sweat off her hairline and continued into the kitchen, passing her and Travis' bedroom.
Mary grabbed a wine glass out from the closet and pulled a bottle of wine out from the glass draw next to it. She poured herself a glass and headed to the bedroom.
"Babe, you won't even believe how tired I am." She began. "The elevators broken and I-"Mary's rant paused as she came face to face with a shirtless Travis, sweaty and panting. He was covered from the waist down in their blanket.
"H-hey" Travis said.
"Are you okay? What are you doing?" Mary chuckled.
"I was just working out."
"In bed?"
"Yeah, um it's this new thing that-"In unison, their heads turn to the bathroom although Mary's eyebrows furrow and Travis' eyes widen.
The echoing sound of an object hitting the marble floor of the bathroom.
"What was that?" Mary's soft voice fills the silence.
"Um-" Travis clears his throat. "I-I don't know"
Mary knows something is up. "Is someone in there?" She begins walking toward the bathroom door.
"WAIT!" Travis reaches his hand out.
"What?"
"Please don't go in there." Mary scoffs and continues on her way. As she opens the door she hears a soft gasp.
"Oh my Gosh."-
