We still in the past my dudes.

Surprisingly, DreamStalker wasn't in their cave. So Rain and Jade put the things he'd asked for in his room and went out for some night hunting.

They caught some rabbits and headed home, by then it was nearly midnight. Though Rain and Jade didn't mind.

As they came into the cave, DreamStalker greeted them, as best as he could greet them. He mostly growled at them and went on about how they shouldn't be out so late and that they didn't get something he needed and something was blah blah blah, Rain was just tired, so he mindlessly listened and went to his sleeping cave.

His dreams were all about the bracelet. How he didn't do the enchantment and he'll turn evil and kill Jade. Then his nightmares turned into having the loud voices of everyone in his head all the time, saying things and all seemed to be about him, and every time he tried to listen to one or a few dragons at a time, he opened the gate to everyone else and it makes his head hurt. All the while Rain had the feeling of being looked at by his watchful mentor's eyes.

Rain woke up soon after, with a headache. So he went outside to clear his mind. But as he walked outside his cave, something stopped him. He looked around for the bracelet.

It was on a rock next to his bed, which was made up of moss and bracken on a large ledge next to the wall. He grabbed it and went outside. The night was cool and clear, perfect for flying. But he came out here for another reason.

Rain slipped the bracelet onto his right arm. At first, nothing happened, then he started to listen and found Jade in her sleeping cave, dreaming of the SandWing market. Rain let himself slip into her dream and watched what unfolded.

Jade was looking at a gold chain on a stand. The SandWing asked if she wanted a really big one. She said no but they handed it to her anyway. It seemed she wanted to give it back but didn't and she walked out to another stand. Then Rain realised that she was wearing the copper horn ring. Her scales flickered like the sun and become a delicate purple and light blueish pink. Another dragon came up to her and asked how she was changing her scales when she wasn't a RainWing, but Jade replied that her friend had magic.

Rain pulled himself out of her dream. Wow, that's cool. He thought.

Then another thought appeared. What if he looked at DreamStalker's dream?

The idea made him laugh quietly. He was going to stalk DreamStalker's dreams. He reached out for DreamStalker's mind and found that he was awake.

Huh, weird. Rain thought, flicking his tail back and forth. Maybe- he was cut off as a loud voice boomed in his head. It was DreamStalker, he was angry but way more angry than normal, his mind was racing with different things that could happen, and how he would deal with them, and all the while his head was so loud and angry.

Rain couldn't hear his own thoughts, he slipped off the bracelet.

And it was gone.

The noise of them gone. Though Rain could hear the sound of claws coming out of the entrance cave. He turned around and saw DreamStalker walking out of the shadows.

"Hello, RainWatcher." DreamStalker said gruffly. DreamStalker always used his full name.

"Hi." Rain said in return.

DreamStalker sat next to him as they looked at the stars. Rain could see DreamStalker's greenish-black scales falling and rising beside him and it made Rain want to shift away.

"You know you didn't get me that smoked salmon I asked for RainWatcher." DreamStalker growled.

DreamStalker was always unhappy, but Rain didn't know he was so angry underneath. Rain dared to put the bracelet on again but quickly took it off, regretting his decision. Being so close to him AND being able to hear his voice, made Rain's headache come back.
