Rain plucked a large Mango from the tree above him.
"How you doing there?"
The playful voice of Bumblebee sounded from below him.
"Good." Rain replied as he swooped down to meet Bumblebee on the forest floor. "How are you getting along Bee?"
Rain and Bumblebee had been collecting fruit all morning and it felt natural to be with Bumblebee to Rain. And all though Rain wasn't wearing the bracelet, they could tell that Bumblebee enjoyed it too. It felt better without the bracelet. Just knowing things without hearing the thoughts of other dragons.
"Good." Bumblebee replied while placing the fruit Rain picked into a weaved bag made out of some forest things he couldn't place. "Should we put these with the others?" He asked
Rain nodded and followed Bumblebee back to the big, weird, and just strange-looking tree that Gooseberry had said to put the fruit by.
"Well," Bumblebee sighed relieved while putting down the fruit basket. "We got basically everything he wanted. What do you want to do now?" He turned to Rain.
The first thought that came to Rain's head was to find a nice place near the ocean and do nothing with Bumblebee by his side. Lay down and relaxed after gathering fruit all morning, Maybe even going on a nice walk next to the water. But he thought maybe it was too forward, maybe Bumblebee would find him weird, maybe he wouldn't come to see him again.
"What about you?" Rain asked, and while Bumblebee lifted his head to look at the tree in thought, Rain put on the bracelet quietly and quickly to listen to Bumblebee's train of thought.
-maybe he would like it, but then again he's doing this so he doesn't get found out, but still, if I take him he's not a trespasser, and I'll be there to guide him and show him around. Oooo I bet he'd love to meet ForeignVine, but maybe Harpy would get angry-
"Bumblebee, just tell me what your thinking." Rain said to him, smiling. "I won't mind you telling whatever is on your mind."
Bumblebee looked him in the eyes and made Rain uncomfortable. From all the times DreamStalker had looked him in the eyes when they'd done something wrong, it gave him anxiety. So Rain looked away but then back, flicking his eyes on different places around the forest and then back to Bumblebee's scales or face.
"Well, I was wondering if you'd like to, maybe or maybe not it is your choice, come toooo the RainWing village with me?" A shy smile made its way across Bumblebee's face as he got closer to the end of his sentence. His wings were fading rose pink a little.
At first, Rain didn't know what to say. Yes? I'll come with you to a place I've never been before. Or no, no I don't trust you, no I don't want to go places with you anymore. Rain didn't know which answer would do the most damage to himself or Bumblebee.
"Sure, I won't mind if it's with you." Rain replied, still not doing well with eye-to-eye talking.
"Oh, really?!" Bumblebee exclaimed. "Are you sure, I mean I'm pushing you to do anything. I hope you'll like it, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of dragons and I don't want to make you do something you're not comfortable with-"
Rain cut Bumblebee off by going to his side and brushing their wings.
"If you're with me, I'll be fine." Rain said softly. "You know your way around I'm sure." Rain smiled at him."
"Alright." Bumblebee replied. His scales turned from shades of pink and yellow. Honestly, if Rain didn't know Bumblebee, he'd never know there were so many colours in the world.
"You sure?" Bumblebee asked again.
Rain nodded and asked Bumblebee to show him the way to the Village.

Together Bumble and Rain flew to the RainWing Village. It was higher up than Rain thought it would be, touching the tops of trees and only a few times going under the canopy.
Rain felt the cooler air from the sky guiding his wings as they flew over the sea of green trees. A few multi-coloured birds flew away at the sight of them and Rain felt as though he was a character in a dragonets story from a scroll.
It was a little cold. It reminded Rain of the Claws of the Cloud Mountains or a day flying over the Six Tail River, although much noisier. The sound of forest birds swarmed his thoughts.
Rain looked over to Bumblebee, the small RainWings excited thoughts bouncy around his head.
He'll love to meet ForeignVine, I mean once she warms up to him, maybe he'll make some friends there. A few small thoughts merged into picture in time. He and Bumblebee, walking along a path that was made of roots, going from tree to tree high above the forest floor. Him and Bumblebee talking with a NightWing-looking dragon, but her scales had bits of forest green to them as well as having a different snout to most NightWings. And again, him and Bumblebee, in a hammock together, watching the stars.
Rain thought that Bumblebee would push away that thought as he had done before, but he didn't. Bumblebee kept it in mind. Rain felt his scales turning hot.
But before Rain could get swallowed up in a train of thought, Bumblebee cut it off.
"Here we go Rain, You ready?" Bumblebee stopped mid-air to look over at his companion.
"Yeah," Rain said hesitantly. He wasn't sure if he was ready. To go to the RainWing Village, to the RainWings themselves.
"Are you sure?" Bumblebee said and flew closer to Rain.
I must have shown something on my face. He thought
'Yeah, if your there, I'll be fine." Rain replied though he was really just dying inside. "Can we go down to the forest first?"
Bumblebee shrugged, still smiling at him, and didn't seem to question why Rain wanted to stop. Well, at least not out loud. Bumblebee's mind was wandering a lot.
Rain flew to a tree and Bumblebee followed him, and Rain landed on a wide branch of a tree. Bumblebee landed on another branch near him, hocking his talons into the bark and curling his tail around it for balance.
While holding the leaf, Rain muttered something under his breath, very quiet so Bumblebee wouldn't overhear.
After a few minutes, Rain told Bumblebee he was ready and they flew to the RainWing Village together, Bumblebee talking about how everyone is really friendly. Though Rain thought without a little enchantment that wouldn't be the whole story.
