Sachiko's POV
Last night Mizuki and Kessho brought me here to the quarters of the Imperial Princesses. They say it's called The Princess' Palace. From now on I will live here. Yesterday we had dinner here and none of us spoke. And the night ended just like that.
I also learned that Lady Elisa will be my Lady-in-waiting. I don't really understand what it is, but it looks like I will always be with her. I was just wondering because I have never seen Mama. And it's been 4 days since Sir Darwin died. The days we're boring. Lady Elisa did something to me too, saying that it was for my own good. It seemed like she calmed my nerves so that I wouldn't get nightmares and trauma from what I'd seen yesterday.
Princess Mizuki always keeps me company. I haven't seen Brother Xeno and Kessho too. I wonder what is happening now outside.
"Your Highness, always remember that you are now the Imperial Princess of our Empire. You shall bow only to Her Majesty, the Empress. You can give respect to the Dukes and Duchess, to anyone, but never show fear to them. Because you are an Imperial Princess." Lady Elisa reminded me, and I smiled at her.
Yes, from now on I am an Imperial Princess. Sound great, but I am still not happy here. And I feel lonely.
"What do you think will happen now, Lady Elisa?" I questioned her. She's brushing my hair. I stop her from doing it, but she insisted on brushing my hair. She told me that she must do it for me.
"Your Imperial Highness, now that the heart of the Empire is gone. Expect something, well, bad or different." Lady Elisa explained.
"Then...what will happen to me?" I asked. She stopped combing my hair and smiled at me through the mirror.
"I believe that Her Imperial Majesty, the Empress will show you to the Empire. She will tell everyone that you, Your Imperial Highness, the Princess belongs to this Empire."
"Thank you, Lady Elisa. By the way where is Ma-?" Before I even finish my sentence, someone interrupted me.
"Your Highness, Princess Mizuki!" I heard a voice of a woman.
"Mizuki? You mean my cousin?" I spoke to myself. The next thing Lady Elisa and I knew was Mizuki is already in my room.
"H... Hey, Mizuki. What are you doing here?" I asked nervously because why is she here early in the morning? I'm going to cry.
"Princess Mizuki! You can't just barge into Princess Sachiko's place! Ahh, I'm out of breath." Said by the woman who followed Mizuki.
"It's okay, she's, my cousin." Mizuki retorted and sat on the sofa and took some cupcakes. A not so lady-like they will say. She's cool.
"Oh my! Where are my manners! Your Highness, Princess Sachiko. I am Lady Grizelda Allen of the East. I'm 28 years old, and I control water. It is an honor to finally meet you, Your Highness." She said while bowing.
"Your Highness, she's my younger sister." Lady Elisa said.
"So does that mean that you came from the Eastern Part of the Realm too?" I asked to Lady Elisa
"Yes, Your Highness. We are the daughters of Duke Justin Allen of the East. I am the first-born. Grizelda is the second-born. And we have an 18-year-old brother." She answered. So, there are three of them.
It must be nice to know your siblings from the start. Never mind, I shall focus.
There's a Duke from the East, then there shall be Dukes from the North, West, and South too.
