Chapter 6 [It seems like my Older Sister just let in an insolent being]

"Her Imperial Majesty is a few minutes late." Lady Emily complained.

"And? Honestly I don't see the reason why this meeting is necessary." Lady Grizelda said that made the other representatives look at her.

"Rude! What does a 28-year-old Lady know. Where is Duke Justin anyway?" Lady Emily retorted.

"Why? Well father doesn't want to attend; he sees this kind of meeting irrelevant. And huh? Are you saying that Duke Mo Zhiyang (16) and Duke Nishimura Xeno (16) can't be here in this meeting? I've also heard that the 18-year-old first daughter of the Lawrence will attend this meeting. And Our Imperial Majesty the Empress is 20-year-old. What are you trying to say, Lady Emily?"

Lady Emily was shocked, and it seems like she didn't notice that Prince Xeno is in the room, looking at her, judging her. The Duke of Mo, Zhiyang also gave her the look of annoyance.

"Tsk, maybe my niece's stupidity is rubbing off on you." Lady Emily said that made Lady Grizelda so pissed.

Lady Grizelda was about to say something, but she was cut off by Prince Xeno.

"It seems like my Older Sister just let in an insolent being. Speaking ill of the Imperial Family. One must not know of their place." Prince Xeno said that silence the Meeting Area.

"Y-Your Highness, I didn't notice you here." Lady Emily said, nervous.

"Of course you wouldn't. I mean, you are someone who can't distinguish the difference between a gem and a trash." Prince Xeno said that makes the atmosphere awkward.

They remain silent until Lady Westia Lawrence arrived. And a little later, the Empress arrived.

"Your Imperial Majesty, why Duke Wade is not here? And the Lawrence here is his daughter? I just saw him earlier." Duchess Eve of the Everest said.

"I kicked them out." The Empress said unbothered by the gasps of the crowd.

"Duchess Mei Lawrence was speaking ill of my precious friend. So, I gave them a warning. One warning is enough, the next time is death." She said and everybody looked at Lady Emily.

"Now speak, what's to address?" The Empress speak with a not amused tone and closed her eyes.

"From East-Nishimura, nothing, Your Majesty." Prince Xeno said.

"From East-Allen, nothing, Your Majesty." Lady Grizelda said.

"From South-Everest, nothing, Your Majesty." Duchess Eve said.

"From West-Gray, nothing, Your Majesty." Duchess Galene said.

After Duchess Galene spoke, silence remains. That only means that the North-Mo, North-Kizuki, South-Tsukikage, and West-Lawrence have a concern.

"From West-Lawrence, nothing, Your Majesty." Lady Westia said, nervously.

"What? Your Majesty, the Lawrence also have something to say. In fact, they're also the ones who wants to initiate this meeting." Lady Emily said.

"E-Eh? My father didn't tell me anything. But as a representative, I don't see anything wrong with the Empire having a lockdown. T-That's why Your Majesty, again, from the West-Lawrence, nothing." She said while looking down.

"Very well. Then Duke Mo and Duke Kizuki from the North, and Lady Tsukikage from the South. Speak." The Empress said.

"Your Highness, we would like you to know that if we continue this lockdown for a month, the transaction of supplies from our neighboring Kingdom will stop." Duke Amor of the Kizuki said.
