Sachiko's POV
Here I am standing in front of Lady Elisa, who is walking back and forth, a hand on her temple and somewhat biting her nails.
"Lady Elisa, would you please calm down? I'm the one getting dizzy with what you're doing." I pleaded
It's been a few minutes since she started doing this.
"I'm sorry, Your Highness. I can't find the fan pin Her Majesty gave you." She sighed
"I told you many times already. It's fine, it's okay." I exclaimed
Today is the day. My first day in the Imperial Academy. But instead of being nervous because it's my first day, I am nervous because I LOST MY PIN GIVEN BY TENSHI-NE!!!
I sigh as I look around, helping Lady Elisa. But in the end, I gave up. Mizuko picked me up and we are transported by Lady Xyra to the gates of the Imperial Academy.
"Thank you, Lady Xyra." I said in which she nodded at me, bowing to me and Mizuki and then she left.
"So.....this is it?" A little nervous, I asked Mizuki at my left.
"Yes. Don't worry about the fan pin you've lost. Wanna wear mine?" She offered, about to take the fan pin on her collar. In which I immediately stopped her.
"No way, that's yours. I'll be good, I promise." I reassured her and she's convinced.
"I believe you." She smiled at me, and I did as well.
We split ways as soon as she dropped me to the first year's building. It was a huge building, a 3-story building. I have learned that each year level has their own specific building.
So, I guess I won't be seeing my cousins and...my sister, right?
As I was walking on the hallway, I saw a group of students encircling someone. As I wonder who that is, I gradually walked near it and to my surprise it was someone I knew.
"Izel?" I uttered in which now the group of students looked at me. "What?" I added
Izel looked at me as if asking me to not speak a thing. And to act like we don't know each other. And I was confused.
"You know this Gray?" One of the students asked.
I don't like his tone. And now all the eyes were on me.
I looked at him directly. "Yes, why?" I asked, a little serious, trying to calm myself from the anger rising within me.
Calm down, Sachiko! It's your first say!
"Oh? Then you must know the saying...The Gay of the Gray?" He mocked, and it was followed by the snickers and laughter of the group of students.
I looked at Izel. He's embarrassed, not making eye contact with me. So this must be the reason why Tenshi-ne said he is unusual. But Tenshi-ne also said it's okay to befriend him! He's just...not the usual... Nothing wrong with that!
I look down at them. My brows slightly furrowing. "And what about it?" I countered, unbothered.
The guy stopped laughing and looked at me with disgust. "What do you mean what about it? Are you serious?"
"Yes, I am serious. We're not friends, I don't get your joke. Ah, actually...I don't think I'll ever get it." I said calmly as I walk to Izel, walking passed a few students and stopping in front of Izel. He can't even look at me straight.
"Wow...This is great! Izel, the Gay of the Gray has a friend? And who you might be? A paid actress?" The boy snickered, leaving the group of students to laugh.
