Epilogue

20 years later...

"Maine kaha tha aapko ki yu mar pit karne se kuch hasil nahi hone wala.. phir kyu aapne pita uss sabji wale ko?"

A young girl said with her arms folded on chest wearing police uniform with 3 stars on her shoulder.

"Uss churan insan ko apse battmeezi nahi krni chahiye thi..."

KS answered looking away from the latter. But the latter didn't move her eyes an inch away from KS to which KS finally looked towards her as if don't want to tease the volcano at the moment.

"Achha Kareena ab jane bhi dijiye.. ham aage se dhyan rakhenge.."

KS said pleading her daughter to let it go but both knew KS never gonna change. Her anger while seeing something going wrong will always be constant.

"Amma ab toh jhuti tassali dena band kare aap. Pure sheher mai hamare kam karne ke tarike ki tareef hoti hai lekin aap hai ki kher kya bole.."

Kareena said while putting her cap on table sitting on couch cuddling her mother.

"Haseena 2.0..."

KS murmured shaking her head in disbelief hugging her daughter back caressing her hairs. KS rested her head back on couch remembering the moment when she first met this 2.0 version of HM aka their daughter.

(Flashback)

20 years back...

"Karishma aapko pata bhi hai ham kitne time se yahape wait kr rahe hai aapka..."

HM said sipping on her coffee looking angrily towards her not so punctual girlfriend.

KS walked towards other side of the table and lift HM's face by pulling her chin with her two fingers.

"Abhi hamari SHO chutti pai hai toh kam thoda jyada hai baby kya kare.."

KS winked at the latter softly kissing her lips while smiling over HM's lips. HM melted like a chocolate within the matter of seconds. HM kissed her girlfriend back holding her in her palms.

"Thik hai ab SHO ki bat hai toh jane dete hai.."

HM said rolling her eyes side wise. KS just looked at her in disbelief wondering it's really her SHO or some other person sitting in front of her.

They ordered some food while talking about their daily stuff when someone came outside the glass wall near their table. Both of them got disturbed with the sudden knock near their table as the looked towards the noise.

A baby girl around 4 - 5 years old was begging to them for food. Her face was dull proving she haven't bath for a long time. Her clothes were teared from every corner her hairs were messy and dull.

The couple's heart broke into pieces looking at the site. As HM couldn't handle it anymore she stood up from her chair and went outside towards the girl.

"Beta aapka nam kya hai?"

HM asked kneeling down in front of the girl to which the girl stepped back a little getting scared. HM didn't stepped forward letting the girl feel safe around her first.

"Beta daro mat ham police hai.. Hame batao aapke mummy papa kaha hai? Achha pehele batao aap kuch khana chahengii?"

HM said still in her position. But her efforts weren't working.
