The sun, barely above the mountainous range, shone warmly across the shining metal blades, armor, and scepters as Princess Zelda approached Training Grounds.

Sahasrla accompanied her quietly and insisted he would remain as an observer.
"Witnessing the power of the Triforce is something I've always dreamed of," he said.

Zelda passed along the wall of strong young Hyrulian men and tall Sheika women, the armor moving swiftly along their bodies, and shouting in unison in powerful stances. Her slim lavender colored dress stood out among the masses of shining copper and silver weapons and shields. Some of the warriors glanced, distracted for just a few seconds.
Sheika women were notorious for being fighters, first and foremost, as if their bodies were carefully sculpted by the goddess Din herself, into tall, immovable bronze statues. Lady Impa was no exception. She kept shouting commands and the warriors obeyed carefully and diligently.

The barracks were full of motion and Zelda began searching for the chosen one in complete silence. No one must know about this plan, not yet anyway. Especially not her father. Who knows exactly how he would react?

Lady Impa, who was so tall that everyone could only reach her shoulder, raised a fist as soon as she saw Princess Zelda coming close commanding the warriors to stand steady. Then, she placed her balled fist over her heart and bowed deeply. "Princess Zelda, it is an honor and a privilege to see you."

Zelda smiled and joked, "There's no need for so much formality Impa; you practically raised me."

Lady Impa shook her head and pointed towards her simple golden diadem. "The coronation already took place. Once you marry, you will be Queen of Hyrule," she reminded her, "and I will remain at your feet as a humble servant."

Zelda was in no hurry to speak of marriage, especially at a time like this. "Training so early, Impa?" Some of the warriors and Royal knights slowed to observe Zelda and Impa's conversation.

"Under your father's orders." Impa shouted to the crowd of knights, "Don't cool off just yet! Keep moving!" The knights quickly began searching for weapons and sparring with one another in an effort to keep Impa happy. "No doubt you've heard of the coming attack."

"I have." She sighed, "I try talking to him but....he refuses to listen to reason anymore. It's suicide."

"I'm glad we are on the same page. Still, if it's war he wants, we need to be ready for anything."

"Which is exactly why I'm here so early."

"Oh? It has been a few weeks since our last sparring session. I'm sure the knights will understand if I train you personally for today."

"Believe me, I've been trained enough, Impa. No, since there will inevitably be a war I wish to have some added protection."

Lady Impa nodded and placed her hand over her heart. "Then, let me protect you! I shall ensure your safety above anyone else."

However, Zelda had to refuse. "Please Impa, you'll wear yourself thin. You have an entire squadron to train. I couldn't impose like that. But," she paused, "I do wish to have a personal knight accompanying me."

"As many as you wish, Princess Zelda."
"Please, Impa... just call me Zelda. Besides I only need one; I highly doubt the war will escalate so much that they storm the castle. Since, you've trained them," she smiled.

"Very well. Only the best for my Zelda."
Sahasrla remained true to his word and spoke nothing, during all this but whispered to Zelda, "Are you sure she isn't the chosen one? Look at her! She's strong-willed, capable, unimaginably strong....does the Triforce not move you to choose her?"
