The next morning finally arrived, plus was a Saturday, so I had all day to practice my new magic. I was so FREAKING excited, my head could explode and turn into confetii.
I got dressed really quick, I didn't wanna miss a minute of this training.
This will probably be the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!
I rushed downed the stairs, popped some bread into the toaster and waited, tapping my fingers on the table like I had to go somewere quickly.
Damnit. I completely forgot that the toaster was broken. I slammed my palm on the counter.
Weird, my right hand was tingly, I looked down at it, and I saw the most awesome sight I've ever seen.
Magic. My hand was on fire and my skin didn't burn.
These powers could actually come in handy right now.
I put my right hand under the bread I wanted to toast, I smiled at myself. How clever I was.
Suddenly, Duncan came in and gasped. I looked at him, puzzled.
" That . Is . SOOO .COOL" He squealed and started to do it himself.
I rolled my eyes at him. Seriously, he acted like a girl sometimes.
When I'd finished toasting my bread, I popped it down on the table and whizzed round, Just in time to see Duncan throw a piece of bread at me. I put my hands in front of my face. Surprisingly, noting hit me, when I lowered my hands, there was a piece of bread in mid-air. Duncan was staring at me, wide-eyed. Then Dad came in.
"Now what is going on... in...here.." my Dad trailed, Looks like he saw the levitating piece of bread.
Duncan just screamed in laugher.
My Dad looked at me, one eyebrow raised.
I held my breath, I was going to get in trouble, Wasn't I?
"Huh... I'm pretty impressed actually." My Dad said.
I grinned at my brother.
Duncan just smirked, and threw another piece of bread at me. I stared at it, then it disintegrated in front of my nose. I looked at Duncan with an evil grin on my face, saying:
"That's gonna be you when I get close enough."
Duncan took his piece of toast and ran up the stairs.
My Dad laughed.
"Well, well, looks like your brother won't be pranking you for a while." My Dad chuckled.
"If he tries to, he shall be disintegrated." I replied
Once I'd finished my toast, I told Dad that it was time to do training, He nodded and I went out to the back garden. Once Dad got into the garden, he shook his head:
"We need to go somewhere private" He whispered.
"Hey!! Can I come too!?" My brother yelled. I finally saw him, he had a hat that said " I lurve magic!" with a fairy on it.
He was such an idiot.
"Only if you take that ridiculous hat off." I grumbled.
"For your information, this is the latest trend! This hat is not ridiculous! Your face is ridiculous!!!" he yelled back, sarcastically. Then he threw the hat off his head and smirked.
"You two are acting like little kids right now! Follow me and Shut up." My Dad cried, glaring at me and Duncan. We immediately shut up and followed him.
