"Hey! How you doing?" I called smugly. I saw Mitchell making a cross of dirt rise from the ground , he then made blocks of dirt and blocked me with a wall of it. I frowned and Alice soaked the dirt. It slowly turned into mud while me and Alice put our evil grins on. Then I realised.
"Guys!" I suggested.
"What's wrong?' James asked quickly.
"This could be our performance idea!" I called.
"Good idea Chloe!" Alice squealed.
I grinned at my FANTASTICALLY BRILLIANT IDEA as me and Alice walked toward the boys. We all showed off our abilities, James made a mini tornado in front of us, then he blew us up in the air and controlled where we went. He lowered Mitchell down carefully and just dropped me and Alice down to the ground. He smirked as I rubbed my butt. God that was sore.
Luckily, me and Alice knew they were gonna do this. She gave me the signal and I nodded. They were going down!
I summoned my fire dragon out (I was so glad Alice chose water, otherwise the boys would just extinguish him) I instructed the dragon to blow fire out of its mouth. He obeyed and fired out blue fire. Mitchell's bum set on fire, he looked at his butt as his eyes widened.
"That's what you get when you mess with da girls!" I yelled.
"AAAGGHHHH! JAMES HELP MEEE!" he screamed, running rapidly for a source of water.
"Oh, your gonna pay for dat..." James muttered.
I surrounded him with a circle of fire but he jumped over it, just in time.
"Damnit!" I grumbled, under my breath.
James threw a tornado in my way, it was gonna hit me when Alice grabbed me out of the way. We crouched behind the mud Alice made a minute ago.
"Thanks Al," I said to her.
No problemo Chloe. Now are you just gonna stand here and let him get away with it?" she whispered.
I made a ball of fire in my palm.
"No way."
I jumped up from the mound of mud and I felt a burst of energy controlling me , I couldn't fight it. I saw James looking up to me in fright and fear. What was I doing?! There was a mirror next to James which was used for flying and aiming, he lifted it up at me. Then I see why everyone was looking afraid.
My eyes were black. Pure black.
"Nooo..." I tried to speak but the energy was to powerful. I felt myself levitating slowly, and I threw a bolt of lightning at Alice. This wasn't me. This time, I found the power to scream out:
"ALICE NO!!!"
Alice looked at me with her pretty green eyes until she fell down, electrocuted.
"ALICE NO PLEASE!" I begged, I twisted and turned and fought and fought. I gained more and more control, I didn't want stay like this, I needed to get to Alice. This "Thing" was not gonna get away with killing my friend.
"YOU WILL NOT WIN!" I shouted. "NEVER EVER! YOU KILL MY BEST FRIEND AND CONTROL ME!? STAY OUT OF MY BODY YOU FREAK!"
I saw black smoke escape my chest, the last thing I remember was me falling to the ground and hearing a big CRACK noise before my world went black.

I groaned as I woke up. There were people around me calling my name, I tilted my head to the side and I saw Alice laying on the bed. I cried silent tears. I looked up at the people staring at me, then I saw it was my family. My dad rubbed my tears away and kissed my forehead.
"Oh sweetheart, You broke both your legs, James told us all about it. But we can get it fixed." Dad whispered.
"But how?" I croaked, quietly.
"Magic, duh." Duncan said silently, rolling his eyes and ruffiling my hair.
I smiled weakly. Then I looked over to Alice. I electrocuted her, out of all the people in the world. Why did it have to be me? I was her best friend. I had betrayed her, I was such an idiot. I could kill myself for this.
"Why.......and who...?" I breathed under my breath.
Then my mum came in with a wheelchair, and gasped:
"My God, we were so worried about you!" My mum cried. She ran towards me, pushed my Dad out of the way and lightly hugged me.
Dad and Duncan helped me into my wheelchair and Duncan pushed me around as Dad registered us out. Mum walked next to my wheelchair so that Duncan didn't do any funny business. Then Duncan whispered:
"Race-car time."
Whuuu???
Then Duncan started to go fast, I yelled in laughter as Mum shouted for Duncan to stop. We finally got to our blue Nissan Note, Duncan stopped as my Mum stomped over to us and yelled at Duncan for being immature. She buckled me up as everyone sat down for the ride, but then I bit my lip in fear. I thought about Alice.
"I promise that I'll come back for you Alice. But please, keep fighting..." I whimpered. "Dad???"
"Yes sweetheart?"
"Can I come back here after my legs are fixed?"
"Course you can."
"Thanks Dad."
I smiled, I was gonna see Alice again and I would fix her, no matter what.
