"Class Dismissed" Miss Hitch said
Everyone cheered and we went to our lockers.
"So how did you do on your exam??" Jade sang
"I think I did pretty good for my first time" I sang back.
We all laughed softly.
We got to our lockers and I frowed at the sight of my math book, Katherine noticed me frowning.
"Hey... Why the long face Chloe?" she asked.
"Oh...Err.....Well..." I stammered "Its nothing...Oh Err... is that my Dad? Better go, see ya tomorrow"
"Err ok, Well see ya!" Jade called.
I smiled and ran, My schoolbag bounced up and down as I sprinted out the school gates. I stopped to take my breath and started walking, If I ran any further, I think I'd have a heart attack.
"Calm down Chloe," I thought to myself. I seriously needed to take my mind off this whole "Magic" thing, so I took out my ipod and started listening to King.

I was so focused on my ipod, My face hugged the door.
"Damnit!" I shouted, rubbing my head.
I switched off my ipod, put it in my bag and took a deep breath. I was gonna find out the truth.
I opened the door and looked for my Dad. I opened his room and I saw him playing Flappy Bird on his phone, Everything was normal,So far.
"Dad? Could I ask you a question?" I asked , eagarly.
"In a minute..." he murmured "Come on! I can do dis!!! 12?! My highest is 37! Damnit!!!"
I rolled my eyes at him, that's my Dad.
He saw I was waiting for him to answer back, I tapped my foot on the ground to make it seem like I was standing there for a long time.
"Oh..Sorry Sweetie, what did you want?" He said.
"Dad...."I started, "Do I have magic?"
He stared at me like I just answered the hardest question in the world.
"Stay here." He ordered me. I obeyed and sat down on his bed, He went out of the room and shut the door.
Wow I've never seen my Dad so serious in my life. Was this Magic thing really real? At that moment, My family came in, for the first time ever, my brother looked worried. My heart was beating faster than ever, everybody looked worried. We all sat in silence until my Dad spoke;
" Chloe, to answer your question..." Dad muttered.
He clicked his fingers, you won't believe what happened next.
It was fire.
He had fire in his hand and it didn't burn him.
"Oh. My. God." I cried
It was true. My family had magic.
"Why didn't you tell me this before?"
I said, breaking into tears.
"We didn't know how you'd react to this"My mum croaked.
After alot of crying, shouting and persuasion. Dad finally agreed to teach me magic. I couldn't wait.
There were butterflies in my tummy and my legs were shaking as I got into bed, I would have so many advantages if I had magic, like hypnotising people and flying and saving the world! Tomorrow, I wouldn't be boring old Chloe who lived a normal life, I would be Chloe : The girl with magic
