OLIVE P.O.V

I can't remember the last time I had a decent meal, I had been jumping from one issue to the other, so much that it is exhausting. It's been a few weeks since I had blood; and this woman seems to be very strong. Her body was moving in unbelievable positions, so much that she began to break her own bones. I didn't bother to use more force than needed, I wouldn't want her to die before I finish... I don't like cold food.
But she died not too long now and I was about to savior the remnant of her blood from my fingers, when I felt something moved from behind the shelves. I could hear the heart beat of another human being, this person saw what just happened here. I can tell easily from the way the heart was hammering against the ribs.

That's right, I heard this persons footstep as soon as they got in, but my hunger got the best of me and I couldn't stop. Now that I'm done, I'm not too satisfied, I can have another meal.

Whoever this person is, I'll make them regret ever coming here.

I went in pursuit of the eavesdropper, but, too bad, I can't have another meal, sadly.
It's just Khalilah and I can't kill my own future wife, can I?

As irritating as she is, watching her is quite fun. Her petite body moving anxiously against the shelf, she peeped through the books but now she looked pretty surprised.
'What are you doing here!?' I yelled.

Reflexly, she swings herself towards my direction, as soon as her eyes combated mine; she screams and ran in the direction of the door. In lightening speed, I had gotten to the door before she did. She froze in fear and took few steps, backing away from me and for some minutes all we did was stare at each other; she knows she's fucked. 'I thought I told them not to let you out of your room, what are you doing wandering around my office?' I asked trying to stay as calm as possible, her big eyes were dancing vividly as she stared at me and she was shaking from the fear.

'Wh...what are y-you?' She stuttered

What did I look like, dummy? Seeing her this scared is quite amusing, like a deer or a rabbit trying to talk it's way out from the tiger's claw. 'What do you mean, what am I?'

'I saw you kill that woman, didn't you?' She asked again. Despite being innocent, she is very dumb. In most cases, a more sensible person would pretend not to know what had happened even though they saw it all. But my dear, Khalilah here has no survival instinct or whatsoever.

'I believe I asked you what brought you out of your room without permission from me?' And silence engulfs us one more time, this is slowly making me pissed. 'You were drinking her blood, y-y-you killed h...her! I saw it!' She backed away even further when I tried to get close to her. 'S-stay away-y from me!' I froze.

'I'm not playing this game with you, Khalilah. Because one of us will get hurt.' I told her sternly, hoping she gets my message while I'm still being nice. Defiantly, she moved away from me even farther. 'I asked you what exactly are you?! Don't you think I'm supposed to know what exactly I'm getting married to?'

'Now stop being childish and come here.' She didn't respond, it took her some time to shake her head in disapproval. The thin chord of my patience snapped, that's when I grabbed her even before she could run. 'Let go of me!' She yells and I tightened my grip, after few minutes of struggling and fighting, she gave up. 'Look I don't know what is going through your head but I make the rules around here. Even though you're going to be my queen, I can and will hurt you if you disobey me; sadly I'm not a man of very much patience.' Her breathing was uneven, as if she was terrified of the closeness.

'Yes you're right I killed that woman, I fed from her and yes I am a vampire. So you better start listening right, because I don't know when you might end up like her.' She glances up at me, she was clearly surprised by the last of my statement and I meant it. 'I'll pardon you today because you're new to all these things.' I released her arm, she staggers for a bit before she balanced on her heels. 'Come with me, I'll take you to your room.' I say heading towards the door, expecting her to just follow me but my stubborn little human did not. 'I thought I told you to come with me?' I don't get why this little wench is bent on getting on my nerves.
