In the morning, the house was quiet.

Tommy woke up,I bathed him, fed him, dressed him, played with him. I cleaned up the house again. Cleaned up my room while Tommy took a nap since I don't work today. I grabbed my duffel bag and packed a few of my necessities and clothes. I grabbed another bag filled with Tommy's things.

I'm leaving. I'm going to be staying at my moms house in the time being. I told her things weren't working out and she told me her house will always be my own.

I carry the things into the car, not wanting to waste another minute incase he comes home. I take the playpen with me so Tommy will have a place to sleep. At least I have my own car that he can't take away from me. It's a new model of the Toyota Camry I recently purchased for myself. It is white, small and clean. It's a perfect size car for Tommy and I.

By two o clock, I left a note on the kitchen counter saying I'll be with my family for a few days. He won't even care and not bother to call.

Forty minutes later, I arrive at my moms house. The Sasha Perez. She's a well known Spanish chef in the San Diego area and author. She has cook books and records herself on her cooking show on YouTube. So her house is pretty large to be living alone. My mom never remarried after my dad passed and my siblings all left the house for college. I'm the only child in the area that keeps in contact with her on a day to day basis. Since she works from home, she helps me out with Tommy when I have scenes. She doesn't judge me and has always supported me in whatever I want to do.

The black gates open and I pull into the long driveway. The forest green door opens and my mom walks out ready to help me with the biggest smile on her face. I'm the spitting image of my mother besides the blondish gray bob she has going on. Same green eyes. Same slim figure except my breasts are huge from my breast augmentation all those years ago and she has none.

"Honey!" My mom shouts excitedly as I open the door to take Tommy out of his car seat. He wiggles in my arms clapping as my mom jogs towards us with her arms open. She embraces me in a hug, Tommy in the middle making it a sandwich as he giggles.

I sigh feeling safe, loved, and finally at home.

Hugging your parents no matter at what age always feels comforting. I really miss my family even though she takes care of Tommy for me, I never truly get more than five minutes with her. For being 26, I'm happy I'm home. I might not have the brightest career, I might not have that stable job I once had and probably can never have anymore because of choices I made to be in the industry but Tommy is safe. Tommy is fed. That's all I care about.

He's my main priority.

I'm good at what I do, I'm expensive and I get people begging to do scenes with me. I'm clean, every guy always wears a condom, my request, and the women I have sex with too are always clean.

Hygiene is the number one thing for me. It may sound weird to most because I fuck strangers for living but the paperwork and cleanliness have to be up to par.

Besides I'm not the only one in this family in this industry. So is my younger brother Spencer. Is it weird knowing my brother sucks cock for a living? No. He's great at it. And he's happy so we support each other here no matter what.

My little sister Ana just turned 18 and she went away for photography in UCLA. Comes home for the weekends but lives in a dorm with her best friends.

My other sister Liz, is older than me by 11 months exactly. She's 27, married to a man who she's been with for the last 14 years. They're high school sweethearts. And the best part? They do only fans together. No kids. No responsibilities. They live a simple life and are incredibly happy.

I guess you can say we like to be in front of a camera. We got it from our parents. My dad was an actor and director in very popular roles for telenovelas in Mexico.

Coming here always feels weird too because this is the same house where my dad once lived in. The same house he watched movies with me in until 2 am, the same house he thawed my broken heart from my first heartbreak, the same house we saw him get sick in.

It's bitter sweet that I'm able to have wonderful memories with my dad and family and now I'm able to create new ones with my son.

"I'm so happy you're here." My mom says sighing happily embracing Tommy in her arms as I grab our bags and walk inside the house.

I'm immediately engulfed with a smell of lavender and pumpkin pie.

Lavender because my mom cleans with Fabuloso. Just because it's a huge house doesn't mean my mom will have maids. No, we were raised with chores and a crazy cleaning mother like normal people. They wanted to humble us and keep us grounded.

Pumpkin pie because she baked my favorite pie. It's my comfort treat.

I go upstairs quickly placing the bags and playpen in my old bedroom for Tommy and I and run back down to the kitchen.

"Mmmm you're the best, seriously. I'm so grateful." I say cutting myself a piece of pie and sitting down on a stool at the island of the kitchen as my mom feeds Tommy some pumpkin pie while he sits in his high chair.

"It's okay, Tommy loves it too huh, don't ya buddy?" She says in a baby voice which makes me smile but internally cringe.

"How about we go shopping? I'm sure you didn't bring everything you need." My mom asks me.

"The plan is to only stay here for a couple days until I can figure what to do next." I purse my lips wiping them with a napkin and getting up to place my dishes in the dishwasher.

"Honey, I think—" she starts but I quickly interrupt her.

"Mom please, not in front of Tommy. Can we please talk about this later?" My voice slightly cracks and then I clear my throat. Her eyes shimmer a bit as she nods her head continuing to feed Tommy.

His soft giggles and babbling are the only things heard as he eats his piece of pie.

It's all for him. He's my world. I repeat in my head until the pain in my chest slightly disappears.

...

A few days pass, my bruises are no longer visible. My body no longer sore, and I'm able to work again. I took the days off relishing the support of my mom and spending undivided time with Tommy.

Enrique hasn't called or bothered to answer his texts. It's like we really don't matter to him. I already started searching for a lawyer because I don't think I can be in this marriage anymore.

Tommy deserves a loving healthy home.

And that's what I plan on giving him.

I'm sitting on the couch watching tv with Tommy and my mom as we eat our breakfast.

Fruit salad with oatmeal. I'm only drinking tea and healthy protein shake because my body has to stay cleansed.

"I have to go." I look at the time on my phone seeing it's 12 in the afternoon, and I have my first scene today with someone. It's been years. The agents and producers didn't tell me with who, but I was told it's an important person. Whatever that means.

"Go sweetie, we'll be here when you get back. I love you." My mom smiles placing a soft kiss on my cheek.

"Thank you" I mumble under my breath, placing millions of kisses all over Tommy's face. He giggles puckering his lips at me giving me a wet kiss on my chin right back. He just learned how to give kisses, and honestly it's the sweetest kisses ever.

I grab my bag and keys and head on out to the studio. "I love you!" I shout to both of them closing the door.

Everything will be okay.
