Letting an invisible force carry me, I landed on the club roof ready to dispose of the surprised minions, rushing towards me, guns drawn. "You're not supposed to be up here, leave now and you won't get hurt." The guard in the lead spoke like he was puffing himself up, when really there was a sliver of fear laced into his words. The other two stood behind him, aims steady. Not giving them the chance to say or do anything else, I spun, my cloak spiraling around me for cover. That got their attention. Before they could get a shot off and alert attention, I extended my hands out and pulled their guns from their hands, tossing them up into the night. The guards confused out of sorts, gave me the time I needed to flash over to where they stood.
None of them expected my movement, which made drop kicking one of them just like a training session with a wooden dummy. The other two came at me quicker then before. Because I was on a time crunch, I did something I wouldn't normally do, I used my powers. Letting loose a minuscule surge of energy through my body, I lifted the two into the night sky above me, their bodies flailing from the lack of control. Mangled noises escaped their throats, just before I smacked the together knocking them both out. I lay them down easily to not draw unwanted visitors.
Beads of ice clung to my clothes like drops of glue stuck to paper. Swirls of smoke danced around vents in the roof, casting dark silver and sapphire shadows into the night air. Not letting the chill or the snowfall bother me, I found the opening I was looking for hidden behind a huge air conditioner and other large utility boxes. Stripping out of my cloak, I dropped down the opening.
Vibrations jumping off the walls closed in around me. It was annoying and made concentrating near impossible. Light flared just below me on the dance floor, as I climbed through the hole I had found. Luckily for me, the people below would never see me as the lights didn't reach the corner I hid myself in.
Below me crowds of people dancing, mingling, and drinking themselves stupid, had no clue as to my presence. They were like lost sheep scouring around aimlessly in search of something to bring them an escape from life. The club was dark everywhere except for the dance floor, as mists of fog filled the air swirling; shadows of snakes dancing high in the air, no doubt a magical illusion to keep the human clientele enchanted. Glowing graffiti filled the entire space, giving off a rave-like atmosphere. Lower level tables lined the outer walls of the interior, giving off a colorful array of lights under the marble of the table tops.
Cushioned square seats organized around each table, housed a variety of humans and other creatures seeking out their next meal. A single floating bar stood in the center of the building, which comprised millions of specs of lights that displayed dancing images across the front of the bar. Four large glowing aquarium style pillars were all that held up the bar. There was a dark stone staircase off to either side of the back wall, which led up to the second level, where I was currently hidden.
This floor held private rooms that were meant for VIP clientele. Expertly dropping from my hiding place, planted me next to the VIP elevator. Walking around bumping into several drunk or doped up club goers, I looked for the room I would wait in.
My disguise blended in with the current crowd. Running my hand through the green curly wig, making sure it was secure, my eyes zoned in on where I needed to be. Confident the fake face tribal tattoo kept me from being recognized, I walked around freely in the direction of the VIP room I needed to set up in for the next part of my plan.
A kid with purple hair and a face full of piercings wasn't watching where he was going and ran straight into me, "What the hell dude, Watch were the you're going." He slurred.
I pushed him away from me and sneered, not even looking back to get a second look at the kid as I sarcastically said, "I heard they're serving the fresh stuff downstairs, better hurry unless you want to miss out." Without another word, he turned toward the stairs, paused, then turned back to look at me, and curiously asked, "Wanna come with, it's on me." His dark eyes peered out from under his shaggy purple hair. He flashed a grin at me that revealed rows of sharpened pearly whites.
Turning, I walked toward him and leaned in close to make sure he could feel the warm breath that would escape my mouth as I spoke in whispered tones. "I tell you what, why don't we find an empty room and have some fun." I pulled back so he could see my face; I blinked and smiled back at him. His dopey smile told me all I needed to know. Grabbing him by the wrist I seductively led him to the room I had been looking for. We entered and as soon as he closed the door behind him, I spun pushing him against it, crushing my body against his. I ran my hands through his hair and tugged on it. Sounds of pleasure escaped his lips. Tracing my fingers down his face to his neck then his chest. Stopping there we locked eyes. Revelation dawned on him and I let him go. He moved, about to attack.
Shaking my finger at him, coldly I spoke. "I would advise against a struggle. If you want to live, you will shut up and listen."
He momentarily froze and his eyes became blank. Then he opened his mouth, revealing razor-sharp fangs, saliva dripping from them. Exposing my neckline, slowly running my finger down my throat, I taunted him "Make you a deal, if you can subdue me, this is all yours." Wetting his lips, the contemplation was there, which led him to believe I was no threat to him, nor I him, and he let his guard down.
"Good, now that I've got your attention I need your help. There's someone I need you to deliver a message to." I hoped that if I was friendly, he'd help me and my plan would still work.
"I know who you are so, If I help you, what do I get out of it?" He growled back at me. So much for trying to be nice.
Letting silence hang between us for a moment, I scanned the room looking for something to use as a weapon. At first I didn't spot anything that would wound him. Then I noticed what looked like a wooden letter opener on the desk across from us. Those will do the job. "What's your name?" I asked to keep him distracted as I walked around the room, picking up random objects, as if disinterested in him.
The kid looked at me like I'd just stung him, "W-what... you haven't even answered my question"
"You're right, I apologize. I don't kill you, happy now?" he flinched slightly as I walked over to where the desk was. Nonchalantly leaning against it, placing my hands casually to my sides atop the cool glass.
He saw what I was doing and answered me a bit less threatened. "Chaz." He sounded unsure, as if he had something to hide, but then shrugged and I could see the tension rolling off him.
Acting distracted, I picked up the letter opener and played with in my hands, then said pointedly. "Chaz, you're going to do something for me either voluntarily or by force. Now you have a choice, but you better make it fast, I'm kinda in a hurry."
I heard him lunge after me, but he was not as fast as I was, and I sidestepped his move, grabbed his neck from behind, and slammed his face onto the top of the desk, splintering the glass. He bucked, trying to get out of my grip, but I held him there until he pushed his body off and sidestepped right out of my hand. I followed him as he rounded me and went to grab for him again, this time he escaped and slashed a clawed hand at my chest. It hit me and I felt the scratches open, but I never let wounds stop me, they'd heal. In return to his attempt to mortally wound me, I dealt him a sharp kick to his chest, throwing him back into the closed door. He slid down the door, holding his chest before landing on his hands and knees completely. Seeing an opening, I jumped onto his back and he fell to the floor defeated.
"You dumb b-" I pushed his face into the floor to keep him from speaking.
"Yeah, yeah... I know, it's nothing I haven't heard before. Now be a good little vampire and sit here till I'm done."
He continued to squirm. I pushed the wooden letter opener just hard enough into his back forcing him to submit. He was going to be the perfect un-calculated distraction I needed for what happened next. Digging into his mind, I manipulated his behavior so he couldn't put up a fight and would end up delivering the message I was about to send.
