Ch. 5 - Crybaby

-

***Chaeyeon/Jihoon's POV***

Today I was pretty much alone. Everybody was practicing for the talent contest. I didn't mind, cause I got to study without anybody disturbing me. I decided to write the essay I had to turn in, in about two weeks. It was about lies. It was interesting, and I got to write about 800 words until my phone rang intensely. The ID caller was Kai-yah. "Hey, Kai."

"Oh hi, Jihoon hyung." Kai muttered with a muffled voice. I ignored him making him continue. "Are you good with colds and things like that?"

"Why, do you have one?" I asked while looking down at the half-written essay.

"Nope, Tao has it." He groaned. I could imagine him running his hand through his hair in frustration. "And he's so whiny, he can't even sleep to get it over with. Whenever he has a cold he's annoying as hell."

"Alright where are you?" I asked, standing up to grab my black jacket.

"Room 105 on the first floor." I guess it was Tao's room. I exited my room in a dash and proceeded downstairs. Then Kai hung up as I put my phone back into my pocket.

Since it was really far, I was starting to get really annoyed by the fact that the building was so big. Without any further thoughts about that I continued speed walking to the end of the hallway. Halfway through my way to Tao's room, I bumped into someone. Darn it, I always bump into people. I shifted my gaze upwards up to see a milky skinned boy. Sehun looked extremely tired and his eyes were swollen. His brown hair was messy and his hands kept brushing his eyelids. I was confused and hesitated at first, but spoke anyways. "Are you okay? Your face is swollen."

"I-I'm okay." Was he crying? I looked at him with wide eyes, not knowing what to do. "H-hyung-"

I grabbed his hands to comfort him and looked at him. I guess boys cry as well. Sehun was nearly sobbing, I dragged him away from the hallways, cause people might see. I went back to my room and unlocked it and dragged him inside. Then he sat down on Chanyeol's bed and started to sob. I was bad at comforting people, but I got to try anyways.

"Sehun, what's wrong?" I asked while stroking his back. It took a moment before he could answer me, because he kept choking on his own tears. The more I comforted him, the more he sobbed. Oh gosh, this kid. What am I supposed to do?

"L-Luhan hyung, I miss Luhan hyung." Then I remembered what Chanyeol had told me yesterday. I patted his head. "He would always teach me how to solve the Rubix cube and he would help me with my homework. We would always hang out together. But today I tried to greet him again. I tried to encourage myself, but Kai dragged him away."

Now he had calmed down a bit. And I sighed and hugged him. "It's okay Sehun. Everything will be fine."

"Speaking about it, he will graduate next year." Sehun was in the urge of sobbing again.
