I came to see her before I headed to the trap. Jakaii said it's "important" I doubt that though.
"What you been doing ma ?" I asked.
"Nothing, busy at the salon as always." She sighed.
"We needa have a girls day. Go eat, go the mall, nail salon." I said.
"I would love that baby." She said.
"Ight imma let you know ma, I gotta head out though." I kissed her cheek.
"Okay my love, be safe I love you." She said.
"I love you too ma."
---- "So, why am I needed ?" I asked Jakaii.
"Because I need you to go pick up Malani from her momma." He said.
Malani is my 2 year old niece, Jakaii's daughter. He had a fling with a girl, Aaliza. Honestly I think they should be together, but Jakaii doesn't wanna settle down.
"Alright, imma be back." I said.

"Damn you getting heavy girl, what ya momma been feeding you ?" I said.
"Not too much on my baby now." Aaliza said.
"Watchu been up to boo ?" I asked.
"Nothing girl, busy with work and your bad ass niece." She said.
"Where Jakaii at ? Why he ain't come get her ?" She asked.
"He was at the trap, he asked me to come get her, I didn't mind." I said.
"Well alright, here her bag and car seat." She handed the items to me.
She gave Malani a kiss on the cheek, "I love you my nunna." She said.
I smiled.
"Alright, bye boo." I hugged her.
"Byee."

I wasn't gonna bring Malani to a trap house, so we went to mawmaw for a lil while.
"Hey maw, look who I brought." I smiled.
"Awww my lani." She smiled grabbing her.
I flopped down on the couch. Wheww today drained me. I heard the doorbell ringing causing me to groan. I looked though the peephole, seeing Zyair.
I opened the door letting him in.
"Wassam." He said.
"Hey." I said.
I closed the door and went right back on the couch, falling asleep.

I heard people talking causing me to get up.
"Rise and shine sleeping beauty." Jakaii said.
I mugged him, "Shut up."
I got up and pulled my shorts down. They was eating my thighs up.
"What y'all in here talking about ?" I asked.
"How Malani look like you when you was her age." Zyair said.
Maw and them always said this. I guess the genes just strong.
I picked Malani up.
"Heyyy lani bearrr." I tickled her stomach causing her to laugh.
I yawned, "Yea I think it's bout time for me to head home."
I handed Malani to Jakaii.
"Alright, bye y'all."
"Bye."

Laying down I heard my phone ring.
"Hello." I said.
"Wassam." I heard a voice on the other end. "This Zyair."
"Oh wassup." I said.
"I need a favor." He said.
"Wassup ?"
"You trynna help me set this nigga up ?"

"Who the fuck asks a question like that over the phone, fucking dumbass." I said.
"Chillat." Zyair said.
"You bout as dumb as you look." I said.
Lies. This nigga fine as hell.
"Yea yea, you wanna do this or what ?" He asked.
"I need details nigga, how I know if this nigga innocent or not ?"
"He far from innocent." He said.
"Mmm okay." I said
"Look, i'll go into details later, I just needa know if you down or not." He sighed.
I rolled my eyes sitting back.
"Youn gotta do this shit with me ma. It's a yes or no, I ain't gone pressure you. I ain't gone be mad if you say no." He said
I looked out the car window. Blowing onto the window I started doodling with my finger.
"Can you let me think about it, this shit is beyond me. Yea i'm in the streets but ian never killed nobody, nor played a part in setting somebody up." I said.
"Yea you can think about, just let me know." He said.
I nodded my head, "Ight."
"Now get out my car, doodling on my window and shit, leaving fingerprints." He said.
"Nigga kiss my ass." I said.
"Gladly." He said.
"Boy bye." I said getting out his car.
