"Pick that shit up." Solange said mugging Gee.

"No." Gee leaned back into the sofa with a mug plastered on his face.

"Jakari, i'm not playing with you pick it up." Solange said.

Jakari ignored her. It's not like he was acting this way for no reason. He didn't wanna act this way towards his sister, but he was in one of his moods.

Truth was he was hurting deeply. After finding out Sanaa was his mother it opened up wounds. And on top of that Sanaa started acting weird towards him, unbeknownst to Solange and Jakaii. He felt as though that motherly love from Sanaa wasn't there.

"I said no.."

Solange rubbed her temples and sighed. She sat next to him noticing something was wrong.

"You know you can tell me anything right ?" Solange said softly.

Upon hearing this Jakari's eyes began to water.

"I guess.." Jakari's voice cracked.

Solange frowned and pulled him into a hug which caused him to break down into full blown tears.

"Why she don't love me ? Why she don't love me like she do you Solange ?" Jakari asked.

Solange's frowned deepened, "What you mean ?"

Jakari pulled back slightly, "Sanaa. Why she don't love me ?"

"Why do you think she don't love you ?" Solange asked.

"Because it's not the same love she shows you. She barely talks to me, we barely worked on our bond before she just dipped." Jakari rubbed away his tears.

Solange made a mental note to talk to her mother later.

"I don't know. I wish I had a explanation for you. If she doesn't want a bond don't force it. She may be your birth mother but Donae is the one who raised you." Solange said.

"Let this be the last time you see a real nigga like me cry." Jakari said.

"It's okay to cry Jakari." Solange said.

"I know, I just don't like to." Jakari shrugged.

"You just like Jakaii." Solange shook her head.

"Where his bitch ass at anyways ?" Jakari asked.

Solange laughed, "Laid up being a family man."

"And what about you ? What happened to Zyair ?" Jakari asked.

Solange dramatically sighed, "Mannn, let me tell you."

Solange pulled up at her momma's house.

Solange wasn't one to keep her feelings to herself, especially when it came to Sanaa.

She was a good mom, but she had her ways.

Solange walked up to the door and unlocked it with her spare.

"Momma!" Solange yelled.

Sanaa came around the corner with a wooden spoon in her hand.

"Don't be yelling in my damn house." Sanaa pointed the spoon at her daughter.

"My bad ma, but we needa talk." Solange said going to sit on the sofa.

"Okay.." Sanaa sat next to Solange.

"Why you ain't been talking to Jakari ?" Solange asked.

Sanaa became tense. Truth was, she was running from her past. Talking to Jakari just brought up all of her mistakes. She felt as though he didn't need her anymore. All she caused was pain and she could see that pain stemming off of Jakari every time they interacted.
