"We all had trouble falling asleep last night. What we saw is something we'll never forget. Everyone is still shaken and confused, while I'm here questioning what's real and fake. That was the Wendigo. It's real. Does that mean, every thing in this old book I found has a possibility of being true? I just barely managed to snap a photo of the creature from behind. The folks back home aren't going to believe it. The disturbing and cryptic messages I've found so far are unbelievable. There's something dark happening in this seemingly haunted campsite. And I, Thomas Evans, will solve it and put an end to the controversy surrounding this place."

Thomas finished up writing the page in his personal journal at the desk in his cabin room. He had started writing in it at nine this morning, and now it was around eleven. Unlike the previous sunny morning they had yesterday, it was very dark and gloomy out this morning. Fitting after what they all experienced the night before.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Just as Thomas finished his journal entry, he heard three faint knocks at his cabin room door. He got up and answered, only to see Tori on the other side of the doorway, with her hands in her coat pockets. "Yo", Tori greeted.

"Oh uh, hey Tori. What brings you to my door?", Thomas asked with a welcoming smile. "Tori is just checking on everyone yo. Just making sure y'all are good after last night yo." Thomas put his hand on the back of his neck and wore a concerned expression. "I...I'll be okay. Thanks for asking though. Say, are you okay though? You looked really scared after what happened."

Tori's eyebrow then raised as her expression switched to mad looking. "What'chu mean yo? Tori don't get scared!", she exclaimed in an offended tone of voice. "Uhhh alrighty. If you say so. I'm gonna get back to reading in the old book," Thomas replied while turning away and walking back to the desk. Tori then regained her composure, trying to look cool leaning against the doorway with her hands in her pockets. "Well uh, just let me know if you start feeling creeped out yo. Deuces." Tori then closed Thomas's room door and walked away.

When she got to the main cabin living area (which was dark), she saw Jameson curled up by the fireplace (only source of light). "You good yo? You've been staring at that fireplace for like an hour straight." Jameson slowly turned his head back to Tori, showing a traumatized expression. "I just.....wanna go home!", Jameson cried, turning back to the fireplace and rocking back and forth.

Watching this from the dark corner of the room, stood Jameson's brother Ray. He rolled his eyes and replied under his breath, "What a baby," as he continued scrolling through his phone.

All of sudden, Mike kicked open his cabin room door from the inside. He kicked it so hard that the fireplace had went out, making Jameson jump and shriek in fear. Ranger Mike then marched into the living area with a huge grin on his face. He was wearing a fisherman outfit and had a cooler of fishing gear in his left arm. In his right hand he held five fishing rods.

"Uh, yo?", Tori questioned looking confused. Setting the fishing stuff down, Mike set his hands on his hips and announced, "Since you were all down in the dumps over the 'Wendigo' incident from yesterday, I've decided take you kids down to Woodchuck Lake for some fishing. Was gonna cancel it and watch porn because it looks gloomy as hell out there, but it's surprisingly not raining, so we're all good."

Giving Mike a death glare, Jameson stood up and shouted, "Are you kidding me old man?! I'm not going back out into those fucking woods! My beautiful, intelligent mind can't even distinguish what's real and what isn't anymore!" Tori replied, "I kinda agree with the nerd on this one yo. We almost died yesterday. We need some time to process everything yo. We're 12, and this is some scary junk." Ray looked up from his phone with his cold, dead eyes and said, "I just don't wanna go. Sounds like a waste of time. And fishing is boring."
