Misinterpreted Love

Part 15

Jakes Pov

It has been a little over 12 hours since M/C went missing. Every hour that passes the more anxious I become. All I can think about is the worst possible scenario. It is now 11pm and Lily, Tj, and I are on our way to the woods where Hannah's phone was located earlier today. So far, the gps is leading us towards the Donforts family cabin, but we won't know until we arrive. I checked Hannah's phone location again and it is still pinging at the same location.

Jake: Hey Lily can you call Hannah to see If she picks up. Let's see if she remembers she told us that MWAF has her phone.

Lily: yeah, sure one sec.

She puts the phone on speaker. Hannah picks up after a couple of rings.

Lily: Hannah?

Hannah: uh yeah you called me, what do you want I'm kind of busy right now.

She sounded out of breath like she was in a hurry.

Lily: I thought that MWAF took your phone how are you answering right now?

There was at least 10 seconds worth of silence before she spoke again. All the background noise stopped like she was trying to come up with something to say.

Hannah: oh, uhm I got it back. I went to the place where I was kidnapped and found it on the ground there.

I rolled my eyes she is up to something. I mouthed to lily to ask her what she is doing right now, and to say that she sounds like she is in a hurry.

Lily: uh okay well what are you doing right now? You sound like you are in a hurry.

Hannah: Damn lily. Always so nosey. I am cleaning up my apartment after the police nearly tore it apart if you must know.

Lily: Well, we are on our way to do a search in the forest for M/C. Do you want to help?

Hannah: Yeah, see I would but I'd rather not help to try and save my kidnapper.

Lily: Hannah, she didn't kidnap you, but we will find out who did.

Hannah: Wait

There was another brief pause followed by a heavy breathing.

Hannah: Where in the forest are you looking?

Lily: We are going to start over by the family cabin.

Hannah: Oh well Lily do you think you can come over right now I need your help with something.

Lily: can it wait until after? Finding M/C is important.

Hannah: Really Lilly you are going to pick that slut over your own sister?

A rush of anger took over me. How dare she call her that after all M/C has done for her. I quickly grab her phone to speak to Hannah.

Jake: Hey! Don't you dare call her that. She has done so much for you, and she doesn't even know you. If I ever hear you talk bad about her again, I will never speak to you again. Do you hear me, Hannah?

Hannah: oh, Jake! do you maybe want to come over tonight and watch a movie? Just the two of us?

Jake: Finding M/C is my only priority.

I hung up the phone and handed it back to Lily.

Jake: Sorry Lily, she just really pisses me off lately.

Lily: no need to apologize. It sounds like she was trying to get us to look away from the family cabin. You were right Jake she is lying to us.

I looked back at her location, and it shows her phone moving the direction we are going but farther away from us. She is making sure we don't catch her in the act.

Tj: Damn where the hell are we going I haven't seen another car for miles.

Jake: We are almost there.

A few moments later we see another car in the distance going the opposite direction than us. The car drove slow enough to get a glimpse of a man and a woman in the front seats. Suddenly the car came to an abrupt halt.

Jake: What the hell Tj?

He quickly spun the wheel around and started chasing the car.

Tj: that bastard

M/C Pov

M/C: Where are you taking me?

Anthony: Don't worry about it sweet cheeks, we are going to have fun at the new house.

He reached over and caressed my hair.

M/C: DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME

Anthony: Damn, since when did you become so aggressive, you used to love me ya know?

M/C: oh, really Anthony?? Was it love when every night you came home and beat the living shit out of me if something wasn't the way you wanted? or wait was it love when you would get angry if I didn't have sex with you but rape me anyways? FUCK YOU ANTHONY!

Anthony: you're lying, you have no proof.

I rolled my eyes and looked out the window. It looks like we are just outside of Duskwood.

There aren't many cars on the road. It looks more like a dirt path than an actual road. Trees tower over everything, I can't see much past them.

Anthony: So, tell me do you miss me?

I scoffed at him and continued to look out the window. He clearly didn't like that because he aggressively grasped the back of my head with his large hands.

Anthony: You stupid bitch. You know nobody loves you right? You will be better off where you are going.

He threw my head forward hitting the dashboard.

M/C: Why are you working with my father?

Anthony: when we first met your dad offered me a deal I couldn't pass up

M/C: Which was?

He glared at me. I didn't care I wasn't afraid of him anymore. There was nothing he could do that would bring that fear back.

Anthony: money and girls

M/C: our entire relationship for years may I add was a cover up. Just so, you could work with him without being suspicious.

Anthony: Bingo!

A huge smile is placed on his face. I am now on the verge of crying. All the lies, the hurt, the time wasted. I can never get it back. Jake popped into my head. I miss him. Then the image of Jake and the girl from the café pops into my head. I officially break down. I feel heartbroken, tired, my walls have built themselves back up. No trust for anyone, not anymore.

I wipe my tears away and the first car for miles finally passes us going the opposite direction. Anthony looks in his rearview mirror and starts to speed up. He is going about 85 mph. My hands are tied so I am unable to put my seatbelt on. My heart feels like it is in the pit of my stomach. I look in my door mirror and see the car following us. It is the same car that Jake had rented for us to use while in Duskwood. Wait could it be?

M/C: Jake? I said in a whisper.

Anthony: Shit shit shit!
