Misinterpreted Love

Part 12

Thomas POV

It's been a long morning visiting with Hannah's parents. Once a week I go and visit with them to see if the police have found any new information. Although, every time I visit, no new clues have surfaced. I decided I was going to go with Dan to talk with Phil. I saw in the group chat messages that M/C is missing. I want to do whatever I can to help find her because she has done so much in trying to find Hannah. Phil could have information about M/C and Hannahs whereabouts. My phone started ringing before I started out the driveway.

Dan: Hey are you on your way?

Thomas: Yeah, I'm leaving the Donforts now. Where did you want to meet?

Dan: Lets meet at the Aurora I'm sure...

Thomas: Hannah?

Dan: What?

I ended the call and saw Hannah in my rearview mirror directly behind my car. Her clothes are ripped, and she has bruises on her face.

Thomas: Hannah? I slowly walked towards her not knowing how she is going to react.

Hannah: Thomas

Thomas: Are you okay? Come on we have to get you to the hospital!

Hannah: No, no hospital, I'm fine I'm not hurt, just a couple of bruises. Hey uh have you seen Jake?

Thomas: Jake? yeah I have but I really think we should go to the hospital just in case

Hannah: No just take me home Thomas

She got in the passenger seat of my car. Me still in shock just stood there for a moment comprehending what has just happened.

I finally snap out of it and get into the driver's side.

I start driving to her apartment. I can feel Dan blowing up my phone in my pocket. After we got to her place we got out and walked up the stairs to the second floor. She hasn't said one word the whole car ride. She went inside while I called Jake from the hallway.

Thomas: Hello Jake?

Jake: Hey is everything okay?

Thomas: Jake its Hannah. We found her.

Jake: What do you mean? Where is she? Is M/C with her?

Thomas: No I'm sorry she wasn't. But Jake she's acting really weird.

Jake: How so?

I moved farther down the hallway in an attempt to not let her hear.

Thomas: Well, I found her standing behind my car in the driveway of her parents house. When I told her we should get her to a hospital she refused. Her clothes are messed up and she has a few bruises on her face.

Jake: Maybe she is just in shock?

Thomas: I don't know, but she was asking for you.

Jake: Okay I am on my way. She doesn't know we are half siblings; I will pick up Lily and be there in 30 min. Hopefully she knows information on who took her so we can find M/C.

Thomas: Don't worry Jake, we will find her. We know how much she means to you. She means a lot to all of us.

Jake: I will be there soon. Keep an eye on her.

Thomas: See ya

Jake POV

This isn't making any sense. Maybe Hannah was able to escape & he still has M/C. Why would he want her though? Is it just because she was helping to save Hannah or is she somehow connected in all of this? I quickly pull out my phone and contact Lily. We must work as fast as possible to find M/C. I will never forgive myself if something bad happens to her.
