The mayor was concerned. He used his megaphone. "Jack! Jack! It's the Boogie's kids!" The mayor hollered.
The skeleton detects the three little children. Jack was confident. He bends down on his knees. "Ah, Halloween's finest trick-or-treaters!" Jack exclaimed.
The skeleton looks at Lock, Shock and Barrel. "The job I have for all three of you is top secret. It requires a few things to get your job done. You three needed to be crafty, cunning and full of mischief." The Pumpkin King explained.
Shock was playing innocent. "And we thought you didn't like us, Jack." She utters. Shock hugged Barrel. Then, she let the boy in the skeleton costume go.
Lock, Shock and Barrel are giggling deviously.
Jack was serious. The skeleton furrowed his eyebrows (no eyebrows). "There is absolutely no one. And I mean no one is to know about it." He said.
Jack pointed at Lock. "Not." He said.
Jack pointed at Shock. "A." He said.
Then, Jack pointed at Barrel. "Soul." Jack said.
The skeleton wrapped his bony arms around the three children. Jack was smiling. "Now..." he said.
Lock, Shock and Barrel goes closer to Jack to hear his whispering.
The Pumpkin King was cheerful. "I want you three to go to the..." Jack whispered softly, quieter than the mouse.
The mayor was curious. He used his megaphone as his hearing aid. The mayor can't hear a word.
He touched his white shirt. The mayor was astonished.
His spider tie was missing.
The mayor checked inside of his megaphone. He was irritated. The mayor shakes the megaphone up and down several times.
The spider did not come out.
The mayor slaps the end of his megaphone a few times.
The spider STILL did not come out.
When the mayor puts his left hand in his megaphone...
The spider bit him.
The mayor was shocked. "OW!" He shouted.
The spider sounded angry.
The mayor was pouty. He puts the spider back on his white shirt. The mayor hit the spider to stop moving crazy afterwards. The mayor was not thrilled.
Jack was glad at first. The skeleton halts the three kids for a bit. "And just one more thing..." he said.
Then, Jack was frowning. "You three have better leave that monstrous Oogie Boogie OUT OF THIS!" Jack yelled.
Barrel nodded his head. "Whatever you say, Jack." Barrel said.
Shock nodded her head. "Of course, Jack." She said.
Lock shook his head. "We won't even dream of it, Jack." Lock said.
They giggled at each other wickedly.
The three pranksters had their hands on their backs.
Lock, Shock and Barrel crossed their fingers.
They left the Town Hall.
Lock, Shock and Barrel leaves the Halloween Town gates.
They scrolled thru the creepy hills.
Beyond the hills, there was the house, surrounded with the bottomless pit.
Lock, Shock and Barrel walked on the bridge.
They reached to the cage.
After Lock, Shock and Barrel went inside it. They are astounded. "Kidnap Mister Sandy Claws?" They inquired.
Lock volunteers with his smile. "I wanna do it!" He exclaims.
Barrel brought out the drum bones. "Let's draw straws!" He suggested in his exclamation.
Shock was vexed. She hit Barrel in his head with her witch's mask.
Shock was smiling. "Jack said, 'The three of us should work together'." She reminded.
Barrel was delighted. "Three of a kind!" He exclaimed.
Lock smiles bigger. "Birds of a feather!" He exclaims.
Lock shut the cage door.
They raised their arms in the air. "NOW AND FOREVER, WHEE!" Lock, Shock and Barrel shouted in unison.
The cage rises up.
They are heading to their hideout home.
