The doors to the fake city began to open and Izumi, remembering what Izuku taught her, charged inside. 'A hero doesn't wait for someone to come to them, they go looking for anyone who needs help.'

She could hear the other students begin to yell about how she ran in before they said go but all of them were cut off as Present Mic began to shout. "What are you all doing?! There's no such thing as a countdown in real life! Go go go!!!"

I was running through the streets, looking for the robots. 'Come on, Izumi. You can do this. Don't think about anything else. Just think about what a hero would do. What would Izuku do...'

I felt One for All begin running throughout my body. I saw a couple one point robots so I charged in and punched through their heads, trying to remember to keep my percentage from getting too high.

I smiled, realizing that I actually managed to use it properly. I didn't hurt myself. 'I can't wait to tell Izuku about this!'

Izuku POV

I wrapped up three two point robots up in blackwhip, before pulling them in and destroying them. I felt danger sence go off so I ducked out of the way as a three pointer tried to attack me. I swept my leg through its midsection, breaking it in half. "There. Easy. I hope Izumi is doing okay." I stood up, taking off towards more robots.

No one POV, Observation room

A group of people covered in darkness watched a wall covered in screens showing all of the different participants, trying to get into UA. "There's a lot of great talent in this years batch."

"Yes. Ones who excel in speed," a screen showed the familiar image of a blue haired boy.

"Those that use recon and tactics to scout out their enemies," a couple screens showed a tall boy with multiple arms and a purple haired girl with earphone jacks hanging from her ears.

"And those that are a natural in combat," a screen showed a green haired boy fighting through a hoard of one pointers with ease.

A man clothed in all black wasn't listening to his fellow colleagues. He was watching a screen that showed a green haired girl who seemed to be struggling to use her quirk a bit. She was managing to get a decent amount of points.

Aizawa decided to look through the files they had about the students until he came across her file. 'Izumi Midoriya. Apparently born quirkless but she has a quirk. Something is strange about this.' He quickly glanced over at a blonde skeleton of a man who seemed to be watching both green haired kids with much interest.

He looked back to the screen and continued to watch Izumi as she tried to find more robots.

——

Izumi could feel the exhaustion of using One for All beginning to set in. The adrenaline beginning to leave her veins. Her legs began to become shaky as she looked around and saw that most of the robots had been destroyed by this point.

"Come on. I need more points. I can't fail after everything Izuku did for me." She looked around frantically only to see that all of the robots around her were already destroyed by the other students.

'No no no! Please, just one more point!' She was about to run off to try to find more when the ground began to shake violently. She slowly looked behind her and saw a giant robot that looked like it was multiple stories tall. She fell to the ground, feeling fear take her over.

Everyone else was away, going right past her. Then she heard something. "Help! Help me! I can't escape!" Izumi looked and saw the same brunette girl who she talked to before the exam. And before she knew it, she was running in towards her.

'I... I'm going to...save everyone I can!' She felt All for One course through her body as she ignored the exhaustion that tried to take over. She jumped from the ground, towards the giant robot. Fist pulled back, the clothes seemed to tear at the shear power she had. She knew she was over she safe percentage but she didn't care right now.

"Ahhhhh!" She punched the robot in the face, destroying it, sending it flying back several blocks. She smiled to herself, she had just saved someone. But then she started to fall. She tried to summon the power of One for All to try to soften her fall but she couldn't. She saw darkness at the edges of her vision as she began to pass out from exhaustion.

'No... I can't...'

——

Izuku saw the zero pointer appear and, to make sure everyone was safe, launched himself towards it, kicking its head off. She he was floating, he looked at the neighboring fake city where Izumi was testing, hoping she was okay when he saw the familiar visage of a green haired girl flying towards the zero pointer in the city, destroying it.

Then he saw as she began to fall. "Shit!" Izuku used blackwhip to launch himself towards her as fast as he possibly could, arriving with only seconds to spare. He saw as he eyes slowly closed. "I..Izuku..." Izumi slipped into unconsciousness as Izuku breathed a sigh of relief that she was okay... for the most part. He looked and saw her broken arm and legs.

'Why would she...?' Izuku stopped when he heard a girl grunting in pain as she pulled her leg away from a rock that was keeping her from escaping. She was right where the robot was and it immediately clicked in his head. He looked back at Izumi and smiled. 'Always trying to be the hero.'

Izumi POV

I slowly opened my eyes as I groaned in pain. I tried to get up but I felt a hand rest on my shoulder. "Izumi." I looked over and saw Izuku. "You're okay."

"I-Izuku. Y-Yeah. I'm fine. A bit hurt. Wh-what happened?"

A short old woman walked around Izuku and looked over me. "You pushed yourself too far, that's what. *sigh* I understand that the circumstances but couldn't you have held back even a little?"

"I... sorry." I looked down.

"You're just lucky Izuku saw you or you might not be walking out of here today." She used her quirk on me, healing what was left of my injuries and Izuku walked me home.

I was feeling kind of down and Izuku seemed to have noticed. "Izumi?" I looked up at him. "Don't feel sad or sorry for what you did. You saved someone today. Use that experience and try to find what you could have done better."

I smiled and nodded. "Okay Izuku." I walked into my house, waving goodbye to Izuku.
