I slowly opened my eyes as I woke up in Drake's bed. I turned on my side to look at the time. 10:27. I streached and got up feeling much better. I need a shower but my bag is in Nicki's room, shit! Maybe she's gone downstairs. I might as well go see. I opened the bedroom door and walked down to Nicki's room. I grabbed the handle and slowly opened the door a crack. I peaked in and saw Nicki sat cross legged in the middle of the bed.

"Shit!" I said under my breath. Nicki's head shot up. Why the hell did I have to say that out loud?!?

"Come here" She told me. Opened the door and stepped in, shutting it behind me. I walked over to the bed and sat on the edge facing Nicki.

"Um...yes" I said sounding worried.

"Can you please explain to me why you did that"

"Di..." I decided acting dumb was not a good option to take with Nicki. "I'm so sorry, I really regret saying it now"

"Carry on"

"I only did it because I was actually a bit jealous"

"Wh-what do you mean?"

"I-I don't know..."

"Is there something your not telling me?" Nicki asked concered while resting her hand on mine and looking into my eyes.

"No..."

"Are you sure?" I nodded.

"Ellie, do you like girls?"

"No...I don't think" I said quietly.

"What do you mean you don't think?"

"I...I dont know, can we not talk about this just now, we're not exactly on good terms right now" Nicki sighed and looked down.

"I guess..." She looked back up. "Can you explain again please"

"Umm...well I was grossed out and I...wanted to kinda teach you a lesson not to do stuff like that were anybody could just walk in"

"I understand that but why did you say it so people had a pretty easy guess at who it was?"

"I don't know...I really don't, I feel like such a horrible person for doing so" I could feel tears in my eyes, threatening to spill.

"I forgive you but you've got to promise to never do that again"

"Can you just make it clear what not to do again" I really actually wasn't sure what she didn't want me to do again.

"Don't try teaching me a lesson because I should be the one teaching you a lesson really"

"I know I'm sorry, I promise not to do it again"

"Aww, my baby, gimme a hug" She gave me a big smile and opened her arms. I tackled her more then hugged her. We ended up laying on the bed with me on top of Nicki, both of us laughing. "I love you" She told me kissing my forehead. It really warmed my heart that she had forgiven me, I don't know what I would do if she hadn't.

"I love you too" I rested my head on her chest and I could hear her heart beat. It was so calming. Now I get why babies calm down when they're held close to their mother. I closed my eyes and listened to the repetitive sound of Nicki's heart beating.

"What are you doing?" Nicki asked.

"Hmm"

"What are you doing?" Nicki repeated.

"Listening" I replied.

"To what?"

"Your heart"
