I'm walking my Black ass across the street to go get my best friend out of work. We just got some wonderful news, and it is time for me and my best friend to be living our best little lives. Oh, allow me to introduce myself I'm Kamisha, I'm 32 years' old and I live in Las Vegas with my best friend Phoenix and her husband and kids. We were involved in a serious bus accident about a year ago and I suffered a broken ankle while my best friend broke her arm trying to keep me from falling even though I did anyway.

We ended up getting a lawyer and fought with the insurance company back and forth, and we finally got word that they settled for what we asked for, which was over six figures. Hence why I am high stepping it across the street to get Phoenix, she works as a high-end insurance company as an adjustor. I walk into the lobby of the office building and ask the security officer to go grab Phoenix telling him it's an emergency.

Of course, he knows who she is because that high yellow bitch is miss popularity up in this mother fucker. She is mixed her mother is Panamanian and her father is Black, me I identify as Black and Afro Latina. I stand about 5'4 with rich Black skin with chocolate brown eyes.

The guard comes back down with a smile on his face and says, " she is on her way down now", I nod and take a sit down on one of the lounge couches in the lobby my hands are shaking, and knees is knocking because I'm ready to get to this money and get my bag and go. "Bitch what the fucking is going on you got Mr. protect and serve coming up stairs to get me and you know I got this new client breathing down my neck", Phoenix tells me as she is breathing hard it sounds like she ran for her damn life down those stairs.

"Girl shut yo ass up the lawyer called you know what time it is bitch", I say as I stand up heading towards the door, "oh shit bitch well say less let's bust a move", she finishes saying as we walk out the door heading to our lyft. As we are on our way to the lawyer office, we both making are phone calls making sure are stuff is in order. Phoenix is making sure her kids are set and getting our plane tickets together for us to go to Houston for our dream bodies, we found a plastic surgery office that has great results that also allows us to heal in peace and not dealing with any stressful bullshit while we are healing.

Me and Phoenix both our mothers and have five kids between the both of us. My kids are both in college down in Mississippi, while Phoenix has smaller children. Her kids are 7, 6, and 4 years old, she has two girls one boy, while I have two sons. As we finally make it to the office we head inside and handle or business, wire transfers are made, and papers are signed. Now it's time to head to the airport and get ready to touchdown in Houston.

Three hours later...

We finally touchdown in Houston and head to our hotel suite and it's fucking beautiful. It has separate big ass rooms for me and Phoenix, "bitch come look at this bathroom tub and how sexy this shit is". Phoenix calls out to me as I'm trying to put my clothes up, I head into her room and she this silly bitch in this big ass garden tub acting like she is making snow angles and shit, with no water. "Get yo silly ass up out that tub with no water!", I yell at her as she starts to get up laughing not gonna lie this tub is sexy as a mother fucker. "Bitch I think I'm going to sleep in this sexy ass tub while you bullshittin", Phoenix shouts out to me as I head back into my room checking on my sons. I end up talking to them for a while as well as getting wants and needs took down for me to start sending out when I get off the phone.

After my talk with my kids, I head into my besties room to check on her and find her yelling into her phone at her husband Shane. Her and Shane have been together for about 15 years and their marriage in my opinion is coming to an end. Sometimes your just meant to be with someone for a certain time frame learn and move on, which is what I feel about their relationship, and I know Phoenix feels that way too. They have been in therapy for two years and it seems Phoenix has made leaps and bounds in progress were Shane just make small progress but then goes back to his old ways.

I feel that he is very much jealous of my bitch. She is smart talented drop dead gorgeous, even with having three kids she still looks great. She may have some pounds she wants to get rid of but overall, she is beautiful with the biggest heart that I have ever seen or witness, she literally will give her last so someone will not go without. She ends up hung up the phone and screams out loud, then smiles at me and goes "what's up bestie you excited for tomorrow". I smile back and go to ask about her conversation with Shane she puts her hand up and say's "I don't want to talk about it, it is what the fuck it is I already have made steps to get them papers together they should be here within the next couple of weeks while we are here". I stand there stunned looks at her as she wipes angry tears of her face, I know she wishes things could have been different, but it is what it is. It's time for both of us to be happy and like I said live our best mother fucking lives! Period!
