America's POV

I smile at RusAme. I pick her up and sit her on my lap. Russia comes out and stands by me. I watch AmeRus run around with our dog, Puffins.

Russia pecks my cheek. I blush. He's as sweet as he was in high school. I hug RusAme and kiss her on her forehead.

"I love you," I whisper in her ear. She giggles.

"I know, Daddy!" She wiggles out of my grasp, and runs after AmeRus. He screams and runs away. RusAme laughs devilishly.

It's paradise. I'm here with the love of my life, two wonderful children, and a small Puffins.

I push my dead weight of my legs to Russia's be at Russia's head height with my arms. I kiss him. He holds my cheek, and I lean into is warm hand.

My hands slip on the armrest of my wheelchair, and I thump back down. He laughs.

This is love.

No more happy mask. The smile's real.
