This book is part one of a trilogy, a journey that takes our protagonist to encounter rogue militias, mafia lords, terrorists, drug dealers, saints, prostitutes, Buddhist monks, backpackers, and lovers from whom he learns the karmic lessons of his soul.
This series incorporates history, socioeconomic shifts, ancient civilizations, philosophy, non-duality, the lessons of major religious and belief systems, magical realism, traveling, yoga, and the path to liberation as described by the ancient rishis. There are cultural characteristics of several countries in Europe and Asia and carefully woven storytelling that spans several lifetimes tying the story together from the first page to the last. It also covers the major human experiences, including shame, regret, love, loss, grief, joy, ecstasy, and growth. All of that while making it easy to read, entertaining, and in first person limited, without you noticing any of it. How 'bout that?
Flaws is a story of fuckups and mistakes and a chance to redeem oneself in self-discovery, a reason worth living, and reflection. The path to enlightenment and the meaning of love is closer than you think.
But it takes three books.
