The Druids

(Elvia's POV)

It's been a few weeks since I lost it at Gloxinia and honestly, it was shit. First of all, I went on a trip to The Fairy Kings Forest with Ban and Harlequin, even though the last thing I wanted to do was be around Harlequin, and also ended up being followed by an annoying fangirl of Ban's which was even more irritating, considering he already had Elaine. Secondly, my forest was attacked by a Great Beast Albion, which was irritating to deal with. Lastly, when I finally got back to my brother, Diane had apparently lost her memories and ran away, so now we were attempting to track her, heading all the way to Megadozer, it's just.. a bit much.

As we continued travelling, I suddenly sensed an immense amount of magical power, "HAWK'S MOM STOP!" I yelled.

"What is it El?" Meliodas asked.

"Do you.. sense that..?"

"Yeah.. now that you mention it, I sense 3 people with very strong power levels fighting.. On the 10 Commandments side, Galand and Monspeet.. And I don't know the third person.." he answered.

'Matrona..' I thought while I began to calm down, but just as I calmed down and was about to go inside, I sensed that Monspeet had sensed our power and sent a flaming bird to trail behind us and confirm that it was in fact Meliodas and I.

As Meliodas was getting ready to use Full Counter, I thought of an idea. Hawk was jumping on Meliodas, which meant he'd be too busy trying to get Hawk off, which also meant that my plan could work. I guess Hawk's Mom had the same idea, because she turned to run toward the flaming bird, and right as it was about to reach us, I yelled, "Hawk's Mom, NOW!" as I yelled that to her, she suddenly opened her mouth, and swallowed the bird.

"Oh man, it was almost whole-roasted pig time for me!" Hawk said.

"Pretty impressive Hawk's Mom!" Meliodas said, ignoring Hawk's comment.

"It's not just impressive, it's unbelievable." Harlequin continued.

"Hawk's Mom, your stomach isn't upset, is it?" Elizabeth questioned, with a concerned look on her face.

"Captain, listen.." Merlin said, finally acknowledging me,"I advise that we change direction, Diane's presence has faded, along with the one who was confronting the 10 Commandments, and this happened right before we were attacked. Most likely, they are both safe for now, but if we were to head in, and approach now, we could be putting Diane, and the person helping her, in danger."

"So, I'm guessing by the change in direction, you have somewhere else in mind?" I asked.

"Right now, our top priority, is to power up so we can fight the 10 Commandments, and to make that happen.." right as Merlin was about to continue her thought, Hawk interrupted,

"We're going to have a meal right!" he said with an excited expression.

"I'm going to give back the power I stole from you and Meliodas." Merlin said without answering Hawk, everyone immediately started talking to each other and looking at my brother and I, wondering if what Merlin was saying about stealing our power was true, "I took a good percentage of the Captain's and Meliodas' power, because their power was too overwhelming and dangerous." Merlin said to everyone to answer their questions "Yes that's right, that's why they always kept their emotions in check, so their powers wouldn't run rampant." she continued with a slight smirk, remembering all this.

"You mean, like how I'm exerting myself whenever I transform like this?" Harlequin asked as he turned into his chubbier version of himself,

"But on a whole different level!" Hawk exclaimed, "But still, it's not like they haven't lost control and gone berserk before, right? What's up with that?" Hawk questioned Merlin.

"Compared to their true power, what you saw was merely the dregs" Merlin said, answering Hawks question before continuing, "Ten years ago, during all the drama of our exile, a certain young girl got seriously injured trying to help us, Meliodas began to lose control, so for everyone's safety, when he let his guard down, I took most of his power from him, and just to be extra safe, I took a large majority of the Captain's power as well."

"Oh yeah, I completely forgot about that." Meliodas said, remembering what happened "We are going to need that power back if we're going to battle the 10 Commandments, which means we need to go retrieve your power from the land of the druids, Istar."

(Narrator)

As they began to get close to Istar, others began to wonder why there were only rocks around with no people whatsoever, that was, until Elizabeth went to admire a stone pillar and found that it was the entrance to Istar.

(Elvia's POV)

"Hey, I guess the gate is already open!" Meliodas said while everyone walked in as well.

"How is this possible?" Slader asked Merlin.

"It's a special type of gate that protects this place, which means that you need the spell caster's permission to enter." Merlin said.

"By that logic, if the gate is already open, that would mean that.." Just before Slader was about to finish his thought, he was interrupted.

"Your deduction is correct! We were in fact aware of your arrival!" someone said, while standing next to two other people.

"Who are they?" Slader asked Harlequin.

"Those are the Druid Chiefs." Harlequin answered.

"The Seven Deadly Sins, it's been a while, hasn't it." the first Druid Chief said, as Hawk began to run toward the chiefs.

"Hey there! You sure are tall, chief, my name's Hawk, the star and master of The Seven Deadly Sins!" Hawk said to the person in the middle, who was in fact not one of the chiefs. Lady Jenna, the first chief, immediately corrected Hawk, sticking her staff in his nose while she did it. "Wait if you and your sister are the chiefs, then who's this old guy?" Hawk asked.

"I'm Theo," the person in the middle said, "I'm in charge of protecting our beloved chiefs."

After everyone was acquainted, Zaneri, the second chief, brought Meliodas, Elizabeth, and I to the building on the right while the others went to the one on the left. "It's so dark." Elizabeth said, trailing behind my brother.

"Our power is inside this place?" Meliodas asked.

"Yes, and at this point, Elvia and Meliodas, you two will have to go through a trial, returning your power, will depend on if you succeed or not." Zaneri said to us.

"Wait, so, we just ace this trial thing, and then we're good to go, right?" I asked as we came to a stop in the middle of the cave, Zaneri nodded before continuing,

"It will be painful and difficult for you two, and I am not quite sure you will be able to take it.." but Meliodas and I both knew that we'd be fine.

"When you put it like that, it just pushes me harder, we'll face any sort of trial you've got!" Meliodas stated, flowing with confidence as Zaneri cast some kind of spell, sending us into the trial thing.

I'm not sure what kind of trial my brother got, but I was sent to a place I haven't seen in a long time, The First Fairy Queen's Forest. (3,000 years ago, it was called the Fairy Queen's Forest because that was before Elvia started giving certain fairies the job of Acting Fairy King/Queen)
