(Elvia's POV)

As Meliodas and I approached the cave of training, we saw Hendrickson, one of the former Grand Masters of Liones, mumbling to himself. "We heard what happened, about how you saved Lil' Gil and the others? Thank you for that, Hendrickson." I said with a smile as he turned to look at us, crying.

"Thank you." He said, and that was it.

After some time, we directed our attention over to Harlequin who was asking to enter the cave of training, but apparently he had to enter in a pair, or three people at most. "We'll go in with him!" My brother said, as we finally entered the cave carrying wooden clubs as our weapons.

"So.. Did you guys get your powers back?" Harlequin asked as we walked into the cave.

"No, we have to rehabilitate our bodies a little bit first." Meliodas answered as we appeared in a room full of goddess ambers.

"Go ahead and choose one of the goddess ambers floating in front of you. There are plenty of different monsters inside each one." Said an unknown voice.

"Which one of these do you want, Captain?" Harlequin asked as we stared at the wide array of ambers, but before I could answer, Meliodas asked a question of his own.

"Hey listen King, about Hendrickson, don't you think that you could be a little more open-minded?"

"What do you mean? Are you telling me to forgive him?"

"I didn't say that, cause' there's no denying, what he did is unforgivable. Trust me, I completely understand how you feel about him.."

"But still.." I interrupted, "The whole time, he was being controlled by Fraudrin, who had possessed Dreyfus's body 10 years before.. Nothing could have been done."

"So if something is controlling you, nothing you do is considered a sin? who's this Fraudrin anyway?" Harlequin asked.

"One of the Ten Commandments.." Meliodas answered, as the aura in the cave changed.

"Is that so..? Yeah.. And those other two, Galand and Monspeet, right? Tell me.. Why is it that both of you know so much about the Ten Commandments, who have been sealed away for 3000 years? And you, Captain, you were dating  a Ten Commandment for a period of time, what's with that?"

"What are you trying to say, Harlequin?"  I said, slightly offended.

"You're both a part of the Demon Race, aren't you?" He said "Hey! Elvia, Meliodas!" Harlequin exclaimed as his club attacked my brother. "Are you two really our allies? Explain yourselves!" Harlequin continued attacking with his club as we defended, though it seemed that he was purposely avoiding hitting me.
"I want you to answer me!" He yelled causing a slight flinch from me.

"that depends on you definition of an 'ally'," Meliodas said as Harlequin stopped to listen,"if you ever turn Elizabeth or any of our teammates, then we're your enemy. That's all that really matters, isn't it?"

"STOP DODGING THE QUESTION YOU TWO! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOUR GOAL IS!" after, Harlequin shot his club toward my brother, but before dealing any damage with his strike, Meliodas grabbed Harlequin's club.

"What are you going to do now that I've taken your weapon out of commission?" He said, thinking that he'd won, though before he got too cocky, Harlequin landed and spoke again.

"Status Promotion!".

A previously small cut expanded on Meliodas' upper arm and began spewing with blood. " Meliodas!" I yelled as I ran to his aid, checking the severity of the wound, "What the hell Harlequin!" But Harlequin cut me off before I could say more, Harlequin spoke

"Stop trying to help him Captain! Now tell me.. What is it you two really want. To bravely protect our kingdom as the captain of our order? No way. That's not it. Maybe its to spend your lives as drunks, living out your days as the owners of a tavern? No, that's not it, either. You've got dark magical power, and though the years go by, neither of you ever age. On top of that, you seem very acquainted with those Demon monsters, who have been gone.for over 3,000 years.. Fess up you two, you're both actually part of the Ten Commandments, aren't you?"

"But-"

"Even if you're a mix of races, Captain, that doesn't change the suspicion in my head the you are part of the Demon Race, so don't even try to deny it. I won't hurt you, though I can't say the same for your Brother. Now answer my question." We went silent, neither me nor my brother knew how to answer. "Staying quiet isn't an option. Isn't quite suiting for the Captain of the Sins. Let's try this again.. Status promotion!"

"Full Counter!" I yelled, throwing Harlequin's spell back at him, it didn't wound him as it did Meliodas, but that was okay, I wasn't trying to hurt him anyway.

"Hahaha, too bad, it didn't work. That can't seriously be the best you can do. Your attack didn't even scratch me."

"Here's a question Harlequin," I said, "You say it's true, but are you positive that you're the same Harlequin that I chose to be acting Fairy King? Because the previously chosen Kings, Daria and Gloxinia, both had pretty impressive sets of wings on their backs. If you are truly the Fairy King that I chose, where are your wings?"

"Shut up! I'm the one asking the questions!" I could almost see his anger rising as he prepared his next attack. "Condense Power!" He said as a singular water droplet formed from the moisture in one of the clubs that Meliodas was holding.

Controlling the droplet with swift moves of his fingers, it swirled around Meliodas, leaving a cut on his body before he realized that he had to dodge it in order not to get cut. Meliodas tried to get rid of the droplet, but to no avail. "I took the moisture inside the tunerica wood, and then condensed it down to a teeny point to create water droplet" he said, the droplet now over by him, a cocky grin plastered on his face.

"More like a small iron droplet." Meliodas said as an idea popped into my head,

"You took what was there and condensed it down to a point. I have done that too, but.. I wonder.." I began to attempt to try to control my dark power, bringing it out, and condensing it down to a point, a tiny droplet of my power, a lump of darkness. "Hey! It worked!" I exclaimed, very proud of myself.

"Alright! Enough of this!" Lady Jenna's voice booming throughout the cave, "All of you, come out of there!"

"Uh-oh are we in trouble?" Meliodas said as I released my lump of darkness back into my body.

"Look, Ban and all the other Sins trust you two with all their hearts, if you do anything to betray their trust, I will never forgive you." Harlequin said before beginning to leave the cave.

"I'm sorry, we can't tell you the whole story right now, Harlequin, and even if we did, I'm not sure you'd believe us anyway."

"If that's all that you have to say, then I'll keep an eye on you from now on. I care about you Captain, so I will trust you on this, but I will still keep an eye on you, don't do anything stupid."
