After about a few days of battling pneumonia, Roger is able to leave the hospital but on a wheelchair. This was surprising because it usually takes a few weeks for the pneumonia to go away. "Isn't it weird that it only took me a few days to fight pneumonia?" Roger asked as Chris pushed his wheelchair. "It is if I'm being honest, it took me a month for my pneumonia to go away only to end up with pulmonary fibrosis because my immune system sucks," Curt said. "Thanks to the immunosuppressants," Roland said. "Yeah," Curt said. "I'm just glad you're getting better Roger, one day you wouldn't need this wheelchair anymore and breathe fresh air," Chris said. "If only the blood clots didn't end up in my lungs," Roger said. "How come you ended up paralysed?" Bryan asked.
"No idea," Roger said. The Wild Boys have reached the bus station and Roger is dreading going back to Basildon Academy. "Hey babe, what's wrong?" Chris asked in concern after managing to sense Roger's distress. "I'm dreading going back to school, what if people start looking at us weirdly?" Roger asked, sweat coming out of his hands. "Just don't care about them, it's none of our business if they stare, they're just perverts," Chris said. The bus arrived and the Wild Boys are now on their way back to Basildon. "Where's the part where I give someone a vomit bag?" George jokingly asked. Roger felt nauseous so George immediately gave him a vomit bag. But nothing came out because his digestive system was still recovering. "I don't think I could vomit," Roger said, still holding the vomit bag and leaning back into the wheelchair.
"Maybe try to eat a bit, make your digestive system work again," George said, giving a piece of pita bread to Roger. "Just eat little by little, don't overwork yourself," Andrew said. Roger slowly ate the pita bread hoping he could hold it in now that his digestive system is back to normal. Surprisingly, he was able to finish it without vomiting it back up. "Wow, it feels weird to be able to eat again," Roger said. "Imagine eating normally when you have to be tube fed," Andy said, pointing at his tube. "Oh Andy," Roger said, smiling at the younger teen. The bus arrived at the terminal so the Wild Boys had to switch buses in order to go to Basildon. They quickly found their bus so they hopped in while Chris wheeled Roger into the bus. "So, how do you feel after eating that pita bread?" Chris asked.
"Weird, it's like the first time in my life I was eating stuff without a tube down my nose, I can even swallow," Roger said. "I'm glad you're getting better," Chris said. "Okay, so when we get back to school, we need to sneak up to students in our class who are going out and figure out some strange behaviours before they are off to Scotland or some other place else," Simon said. "Or maybe I could install a device and sneak it into our classmates' clothes like a camera and then use the computer to find out where they're going," Nick said. "And where do we find this computer?" Jon asked. "There's a computer lab next to the Year 7 classroom used for the programming club, those guys who were trying to hack into the Russians," Nick said. "You were from the programming club?" Rolad asked.
"Programming, art, photography and music clubs," Nick said. "Woah, that's a lot of clubs," Andy said. "I mean, Bryan, Roland and I are also part of the photography club and John and Kate were also from the art club," Martin said. "Yeah and there's also a dance club where George, Dave, Roland, Simon and I were part of as well," Kate said. "I had to quit though, my dance skills were the worst," Simon said while cringing. "I forgot to mention that Kate and I were also part of the karate club, that's where I got my obsession with the Karate Kid," Curt said. "Now I see why you like that film so much," John said. "So, what's the plan on figuring out where the missing students were going?" Andy asked. "First, I'll go to the engineering club's classroom and work on the 'cameras' that should connect to a computer as if I were watching CCTV footage," Nick said.
"And how are you going to do that?" Maddy asked. "I'll need to borrow one of the computers in the computer lab to make sure they're working, I also need to program them to be wireless so that we wouldn't need to restrict these cameras," Nick said. "Now I see why you have an A in IT yet you got a B in art," John said. "And if I could find out where our classmates are going, I'll write it down and we could find our answers," Nick said. Simon took note of Nick's plan, thankful that he also brought a pen with him for no reason. "Then how can you do it without anyone suspecting a thing?" Roger asked. "I have powers that could help with that, nobody would suspect a thing," Nick said, knowing that his powers could help. "You gotta be careful, you shouldn't overuse your powers," Curt said. "Yeah, your nose would probably start bleeding if you overuse it," George said.
"Nah, I'll be fine," Nick said which didn't make Curt and George convinced. The Wild Boys finally arrived at their school and Roger was pretty nervous. "Are you ready to go back there?" Chris asked. "Yes, I'm ready," Roger said, although he's nervous. "Do we still have to interrogate my brother about Emily and Kodilea?" Bryan asked. "Well, we'll save it until our mission is completed," Simon said. The Wild Boys will return shortly.
