(EQ) Kabukicho Night Festival: Before the Festival (For Ellie)

(Ellie narrating) I became a vampire, and then I became famous. At that time, I was alone looking at the night view of Tokyo from the roof of a skyscraper. With my eyes, no longer human ones, I could see the lights of this city in every nook and cranny. If I thought that this brilliance was all just for me, I thought I wouldn't feel so bad. Yes, for me, I decided to be alone. I don't care about others, I won't be swayed by someone's words. (Ellie is shown in winter clothes on a balcony somewhere)

Ellie: *phone rings* Hello. It's okay Suzuka. I haven't forgotten that we're going to school together today. Is it okay to meet at the safe house? Okay, let's change into our uniforms there and head out. *flies off the roof and disappears from the screen*

(Ellie narrates) The day before the festival, Suzuka takes me to Kabukicho Academy, which we attend. Suzuka knows I have a habit of slacking off, so she comes to get me when there's something important.

Ellie: Ok, I get it. I'll bring the clothes.

(Ellie narrates) After school, I parted ways with Suzuka and headed to the dressing room. As I walked down the corridor, I heard the voices of the other students behind me.

Infernal Yaksha: ...That girl was here. Hey, don't you have to say hello?

Valiant Yaksha: Oh, you're talking about Ellie. What, you scared of her? I mean, even though we go to the same school, we can't even get close to her.

Aether Yaksha: Is it scary for you too? ...Oh my god, it is, isn't it.

(Ellie narrates) When I show up at the school, everyone gossips about me. Some time ago, a certain meddlesome person heard these things and was worried about me. I remember that they were colder than anyone else, more beautiful than anyone else, and more frightening than anyone else.
