*Title card appears, Episode 4: Each Sanctuary*

Sandayu: What was that tremor?! Did something else happen somewhere in the school building?

Kresnik: ...Sandayu, everyone. I'll go check on the students.

Suzuka: Ellie, Sphinx, (Player)– Everyone seems fine for now.

Player: (A) (Check outside) (B) (Check the corridor) (C) What kind of shaking was it?

*Choice A continues with the story*

(B) (Player) leaves the classroom and looks around the hallway to see if anything is wrong. No particular changes were seen. You returned to the classroom.

(C) Sandayu: It's true that we got out of the sanctuary, but it looks like something terrible is going to happen...

Sandayu, who witnessed a mysterious phenomenon, speaks in a tense voice.

(Player) looks out of the classroom window. Even though the high castle walls block the view from the first floor–

Player: (A) ...was that my imagination (B) For a moment, there was a different landscape

Tsukuyomi: Hmmm, (Player)... It seems you saw it as well. It's as if another world's scenery was trying to replace this one...I could see it too.

Sphinx: This... This desert, it's my home world. Aaru is about to appear in Tokyo...?

Sphinx realized something while staring outside and continued to mutter.

Sphinx: I see... If all the riddles were solved just now, the sanctuary surrounding the castle would disappear, so–

Tsukuyomi: Do you understand something, Sphinx? If you don't mind giving us an explanation–

Before Tsukuyomi could ask for more details, Ellie intervened from the side.

Ellie: Hey...doesn't it feel like we're sinking with the castle?

(Player) looks out the window again. A vast desert scene appears for just a moment. From directly under the building to the surroundings, there was a deep-colored water field that looked different from the oasis. When (Player) blinks, the scene immediately returns to the castle. However, even after the scenery changed back, the water field surrounding the building remained unchanged.

*flashback from earlier*

Tsukuyomi: Well, what should I do? I want to go inside the castle, but this sea is in the way, so I can't. Oh, does (Player) see this as a lake? It would make more sense that way. However, I recognize that this is the sea, not a lake.

*back to the present*

Tsukuyomi: If things go on like this, we'll be pulled into the sea along with the building.

Suzuka: What are you talking about?! Where is the ocean in a castle like this–

Suzuka looks outside and is at a loss for words. Now, of course, she was able to recognize it. When she saw it right after breaking through Sphinx's sanctuary, it looked like nothing more than a place to protect the castle from foreign enemies. But now, it looked like it was ready to swallow everything, opening its mouth wide.
