Chapter 3:

"I'm going to get ready. What time are we leaving?" I asked Luke. "Whenever where both ready." Luke smiled. I got up and went to my room. I looked at some bathing suits. I picked one the one that was blue well teal, it was bright it also was strapless and it like twisted in the front if you know what I mean. (It like crossed to the other side) I put my hair in a messy bun on the top of my head. I needed something to cover my cuts. I will just put a bandaid and say I scratched it. I put on my cover up it was like a dress. One thing Luke didn't know about me is that I could surf. I got my small bag that i put over my head and I put sunscreen in it and a couple other things. Once I got everything I put my bag over my head and walked out Luke was on the couch waiting "ready!" I told him. He stood up and smirked "what?" I asked feeling insecure "nothing" he smiled. We walked out side "can you drive?" He asked and I shook my head. I usually have Ariana or Frankie drive me or everything else is in walking distance. "Nether can I. Guess we have to take the bus?" He asked. I laughed. "Or we can walk! It not far just let me get something be right back" I ran to the storage things where you keep bikes old stuff and other things people couldn't fit in the apartment, I kept my surf board down here. I grabbed it and ran back to Luke. "You surf?!" He asked surprised. "Yes!" I laughed. "I will teach you!" I told him, he agreed. "Want me to hold that?" He asked. "Yeah thanks" I said handing him my surf board. "We'll I was talking about the bag but I guess this will do" he joked. "Ha. Ha. Ha." I laughed. "You just wanted to hold that to look all bad and cute" I told him. "We'll I was just helping out a beautiful lady but that was a bonus" he winked. Inside my heart just stopped but on the out side I just rolled my eyes. We finally made it to the beach it was perfect out. The waves where a good size to surf on and to also get a good tan. We set up our stuff on the sand. "The water looks great!" I told him. I started putting sunscreen on my legs and arms "Luke!!" I called him over. "Yeah?" He asked. "Get my back!" I said handing him the sunscreen, he put some on his hands and rubbed them on my back messaging it smoothly. "Done know get mine!" He said and we switched place. I rubbed sunscreen on his toned tan back "done! Are you ready to try and surf!" I asked. "Yes but show me first!!" "Fine! Stay here and I will show you than your coming in" I told him he just nodded. I took my cover up off and I felt him staring through my back I turned around and sure enough he was. He blushed and looked away I grabbed my orange board that had a blue line down the middle and head towards the water.

*Lukes POV*

Her soft hands where rubbing my back I loved this. "Done! Are you ready and try to surf?" She asked me. "Yes! But show me how!" I wanted to see her try it before me. "Fine stay here and I will show you than your coming in" she told me and I just nodded. She started taking her cover up reveling her teal blue bathing witch made her look even more tan. She looked... Wow. She turned around an I looked away and blushed. She picked her board up and walked towards the water slowly getting in she paddled her board out a little and sat up facing the waves. I took my phone out and took a perfect picture. I looked and saw she was turning around there was a perfect wave she paddled a little and stood up and surfed it. Once she was done I clapped. I got up and ran to the water letting the cold water hit me. "That was great." I said. She blushed and said thanks.

**Taylor's POV**

"Ok so when a wave comes you have to paddle and while your paddling count to 10 and stand up. It will take a while to learn to balance." I told him. We switched spots and I saw a good sized wave coming for him it was small but not to small. "Paddle" and he did as I said he stood up shaking a little and fell. I started laughing his face was priceless. "I was so close" he said coming up from the water. "Try again!" I told him. He sat on the Board "here comes a good wave!" I told him. He turned around "go!" I said to make him started he stood up "your doing it!" I yelled towards the end he kinda wobbled and fell. I ran towards him and gave him a massive hug "good job!!" I said "all thanks to you!" He told me and I slightly blushed. "Up for some ice cream?" He asked. I nodded my head yes. I went back to our towels and put my cover up back on and grabbed my bag. The ice cream stand was on the harbor aka the big dock. We walked along the dock and stopped at the ice cream place "can I have chocolate chip cookie dough please and" I looked at Luke "same!" He smiled. Luke got his money out and paid "thanks for paying" "we'll thanks for teaching me." He thanked me. We walked down the board walk talking to each other and getting to get to one another. We finished our ice cream and where at the end of the dock. "Is there anything special in there?" He asked pointing to my bag "no?" I asked curious of why he asked. He took the bad from me and out it on the side. He put his elbow next to it and slowly moved it until the bag fell down the water. He gasped. "Oh no!" He said "LUKE!" I laughed he jumped over the side and into the water. I ran down the dock and towards the water. Luke was coming back from the water with my bag. "Luke your crazy!" I laughed. He smirked "we'll thanks for saving my bag.. I think." I laughed. "We'll you said if your bag ever fell in the water you would want someone to get it for you" he laughed. He was so darn cute. "Look the sun is setting!! Come on!" I told him. I grabbed my board and we went kinda deep in. We both sat on the board he was on one side and I was on the other. The sun was setting. "How did you learn how to surf?" Luke asked me. I could hear the light sounds of the waves crashing and the scenery was beautiful. "I taught myself. I always came to the beach to clear my mind and I always watched everyone surf and wanted to so I taught myself" I told him. "Wow your really good!" He complemented me. "Thanks" the sun was slowly going down. My feet where dangling in the water we where still on the board. "Why do you live with Ariana and Frankie not your parents?" He just had to ask that question didnt he. "Um... Today's not the day!" I said looking down. "I'm sorry!" Luke said. "It's ok" I smiled. "Have you ever been night surfing?" He asked "yes! It's amazing. You can see lights from the city reflecting from the water. I love it. Its magical." I told him. "You should take me" he smiled. "Once you get more advanced" I laughed and looked down. I looked back up and me and Luke's face where close. He looked at my eyes than to my lips his lips where hovering over mine than BAM!! Of course right as I was about to kiss him a wave had to come and knocked us off. It was dark so I swam to shore "Luke!" I yelled "right here!" He came back holding the board. "Wanna go home is getting late?" I asked "yeah." I packed all my things in the bag and we started walking home. "I had fun today!" Luke told me. I smiled "me to!" We walked home in a comfortable silence. Once we got to the apartment he helped me put the board away. We got to the house and I went to my bathroom and took a shower. I got all the salt and sand off of me and I washed my hair than my body and got out. I went to my room and but on shorts and a Luke's Mickey Mouse hoodie. I let my hair air dry. I went down stairs and got yogurt, strawberries, bananas, and crushed granola and put it all together. I finished and washed my bowl.. The house was quit I guess everyone is asleep. I went past the living room and saw Beau on the couch. "How was your date?" Beau asked. "It wasn't a date!!" I whined. I went to my room and Beau followed me in. "Did you kiss?" He smirked. "Get out I'm tired!" I whined. "You did kiss!" "No!! We didn't!" I wasn't laying. "Ok well I will go ask Luke" he said "ok have fun trying to get stuff out of him while I go to sleep! Goodnight" I said and shut the door. I laid in bed and finally fell asleep thinking of my fun day.
