Chapter 16 (part 1)

Taylor's POV

I heard voices around me, I was awake but to weak to open my eyes. I had a little strength and I opened them. I saw 7 familiar faces that I missed. I started coughing which caught everyone's attention. They all came and gave me a hug "how are you" Ariana asked me. I tried talking but my mouth was really dry. I guess she noticed she got me water and when I took a sip it felt refreshing. The doctor came in and asked me a few questions. "We'll she's able to go home when ever but you need to put this gel on her burns so they will heal properly" he told us. He handed Frankie papers to sign since he was the oldest. After signing them we got all of my stuff and went to the house. The doctor said I have to use my inhaler more often now which sucks. Once we got home I laid on my bed it was 6:00 and I was bored and hungry. I heard a faint knock on my door "come in." I yelled loud enough for them to hear. The door opened and I saw Luke coming in and he stood there awkwardly. "We'll I don't know if you remember but before the fire you agreed to go on a date with me and I was wondering if you where still up for it?" He asked and I could tell he was really nervous which was adorable "yeah. When?" I smiled "um.. Be ready by 7?" He asked "okie dokie" I smiled and hopped up. Luke went out of the room and I needed to get a shower because I've been in that hospital. Once I was out of the shower and I braided my hair to the side and put on a light pink dress that was strapless and white flats. I put on a small touch of makeup and I was ready. I grabbed my purse and phone and went downstairs. Luke was sitting on the couch ready he looked so adorable he was wearing a polo with skinny jeans and his normal curls. "Ready?" He asked "yep lets go!" I smiled. We walked towards the door and he held it open for me "thank you" I smiled "anytime" he smiled. I guess the time we didn't talk he got his drivers licenses. He borrowed Frankie's car and we started driving "I missed you." He told me. I looked at him and smiled "I missed you to." I said being honest. I'm glad the things between us weren't awkward anymore. The sun was starting to set and by now we where on wavy roads and all I see is trees. Once we got to the place he stopes and helped me out of the car. I saw in front of us was a blanket with food and in front of that we were looking out on the whole city of L. A. It was beautiful. I gasped in amazement. We sat down and had small talk it was really fun we where joking around like we always did it was honestly the best. The sun was still setting and Luke was taking pictures being the photographer he is. "Let's take one with the sun behind us." He smiled an I agreed. He set the timer on his phone and we quickly got up and he made a silly face and I started laughing really hard and then I heard the click. He ran to his phone set the timer again and pulled me into a hug then I heard another click. "2 more then I'm done I promise!" He smiled. He set the timer twice this time so he wouldn't have to go back. Once he came back he quickly slipped his hand in mine while we where facing the sunset and I didn't mind then I heard a click. He faces towards me and put his hand on my cheek and the other around my waist. I put my arms around his neck ad he pulled me closer. Our foreheads where touching then I heard a click but we paid no attention to it. His lips came closer to mine and I felt his hot breath which made my shiver. He slowly leaned in more his lips finally touched mine and the fit perfectly.
