Galadriel's Pov
Again, I woke up with a start, my sword drawn, staring into the darkness. The stars were twinkling above me, the moon hung in the sky, illuminating myself and the path I was to take. Dawn was near, as I saw it disappear beneath the horizon, relaxing me a bit. A pitch black then surrounded me, the light of the moon had gone, leaving nothing to cast light upon my way. Then, to my left, a warm, orange glow touched the inky night, overpowering it with colour and beauty. A glowing ball of fire drifted upwards, shining on my face and reminding me of my own luminosity. Darkness would always bow to the light, and I would meet the final evil on the battlefield and destroy him with my power.

"Titan," I said, standing up slowly to face him, "We must proceed with the dawn." He stood himself up to meet my gaze. I collected the supplies in the now dusty satchel and attached it to his side, before clambering on his saddle. "Onward," I whispered, we galloped onwards, passing many small settlements of men, they stared at me in awe, then again, I was an elven commander, these men had probably never seen an elf in all their short lives. Their jaws dropped so far they almost touched the ground, before another man, one who seemed to be in charge approached me. "Who are you and why have you come!?" He screeched, I payed him no attention, until he drew his sword. "You will answer me woman!" How dare he. "I have no need to answer your questions any more than I need acknowledge you, my existence would shatter your mind and my journey is far more important than arguing with the likes of you!" I snapped, he stood their aghast, his face as pale as a ghost. I then continued onwards, not looking back at the gathering of men.

I soon reached the border, where grass became ash and water was fire. The smoke from my last visit here had all but diminished, allowing me a clear view of the treacherous mountain of fire. Mount Doom. That was its name. Titan was anxious to step onto the scorched land, but with some encouragement and reassurance, eventually we made our way onto the fiery plain.

We made our way through the burnt land, all the trees, the bushes, all life had been sucked dry from the now incinerated valley. Silence. Nothing. Just silence. Clang! What was that? "We are being watched" I said softly to Titan. We carried on for not long, before a hoard of orcs sprung from behind many piles of rocks. Their faces snarled and screeched, drawing their blades and rushing forth to meet me in battle. I sliced each of their heads off, black blood spilling from the wounds, dripping and oozing on the floor. One tried to stab my leg, but I blocked it before it made contact, tearing its arm off with my sword, screaming in pain I cut it in half, organs spilling from the wound and shrivelling up. I severed limbs and decapitated heads as I ploughed through the remaining filth, but they just kept coming. More and more streamed in from every direction, swarming me, increasing in numbers and dragging me down. One managed to grip my boot, another slashed Titan, he bucked and I fell. Nothing could stop me from hitting the ground. I fell through the air, my stomach twisting and turning, before I landed on my feet and blocked every blade I could see, I jabbed at every Orc time and time again, but it was no use, there were too many. One hit me in the back of my knee and I fell down, then the other, helpless and about to die. I felt steel touch and lift up my chin as they all snarled around me. "You've made quite the impression, I see why my Master desires you so very much," hissed the one in command, "Take her to him."

I was dragged in chains towards a stone keep, being shoved against the many orcs crowded around me. We came to the door, Titan nowhere in sight, good, he had bolted. I wished not for him to have such a fate as I. The commander then pounded on the wooden entrance and said, "Master, we have found the elf, she has come." The door opened to another orc, dark and disfigured, with jagged teeth and a wild mane. "Enter," he said in a gruff voice. I was lead through the door, to a small room with two new, ebony doors, I was lead through to the second and was seated in a compact room, more like a cell than anything else. In the corner lay a bed and a lavatory and off to the right was a single chair with leather straps around the arms, legs and back. "Get in," the new orc demanded. I was strapped to the chair, my ankles, wrists, calves, biceps and waist bound to the seat. I struggled and resisted but was held down, as soon as I was restrained, they left the room, leaving me alone in darkness, with the only light being a small lantern, mounted on the wall.

Not long after, a tall figure, entered the room, shrouded by light, so all that was visible was a silhouette. The door shut behind him and the lantern blew out, leaving us both completely blind in pitch black. "Hello again, my Queen ," a soft voice whispered in my ear. "You," I snarled, looking in every direction to catch even the slightest motion in the darkness. "I'm so glad I have finally found you, I've missed you greatly," my heart was fluttering at the sound of his words. I had to hate him. I did hate him. "Soon you and I will rule this Middle-Earth and we will be wed."
"I will never wed you. I do not and will never love you!" That was a lie.
"We'll see about that, my love," he said as he shut the door behind him, once again leaving me alone in the darkness.
