"We did it, team!" I cheered.

"I'll go ahead on my own," Fox announced, turning and heading deeper into enemy territory.

"Fox, I don't think that's a smart idea," I began, concerned, trailing behind him.

"She's right," Falco agreed after about a minute. "We should go with you."

"We should stick together," Peppy added.

"Fox--!" I cried as he sped forward. "Fox-- wait!"

"Your ship is damaged, too," Falco pointed out. "Don't pretend it's not."

"Don't try to be the hero," I begged him.

"We're a team," Peppy reminded him.

"Alright," Fox relented.

By now, we had arrived at some ruins. Fox sped through the tunnel that lead right through them. The three of us tried to follow him, but some stone pillars rose up and blocked our path completely.

"We'll have to go around!" I decided, turning and following the perimeter of the ruins. "It's the only way!"

"We're right behind you," Falco and Peppy promised.

The three of us sped around the perimeter of the ruins, taking out what little opposition stood in our way. We hoped to meet Fox on the other side, but when we got there, he still hadn't arrived.

"Look!" I exclaimed, turning around and staring back through the tunnel. "There's something there!"

"It's blocking his way!" Peppy noted.

"We should help him," Falco decided.

"Right," I agreed. "All units, open fire!"

We sped down the hallway, closing in on the stone giant that seemed to be blocking Fox's way, firing a volley of shots at it. It cried out in rage and threw a boulder at us

"Woah!" Falco gasped.

"Don't worry!" I assured him, firing a bomb and blasting the boulder to bits before it hit us.

"Nice," Falco smiled

"Guys?" Fox pressed.

"We're here to help you, Fox," I assured him. "Let's do this!"

The four of us each fired off a charged shot at the stone monster. It's arms and shoulders fell away, revealing that the stone was just a coating, protecting some metal rods.

"Get rid of all its armor and then blast it to bits!" I ordered.

"One step ahead of you!" Falco cried, blasting off the creature's stone helmet.

"Get back!" I warned them all, firing a bomb at the creature's chest plate, heavily damaging it but not quite destroying it.

The shockwave of the blast, however, destroyed the pelvic part of its armor.

"Nearly there," I noted, seeing as we only had the legs, feet, and severely damaged chest plate left.

"Gotcha!" Peppy cried as he took out one of the feet.

"That's another one down," Fox added as the other foot was taken out.

"Take that!" Falco taunted, firing another charged shot at the chest plate and taking it out at last, revealing the beast's weak point.

"Yeah hoo!" I cheered. "Let's finish this thing off."

All four of us fired on the weak point, and after only a couple more seconds, the beast was destroyed. We proceeded back out the other end of the ruins without any further interference.
