I began packing up my things at Anne's house to have everything ready for when Harry got here.
"Someone's excited." Gemma teased walking into the room.
"I actually am. I'm ready to just, be with him. I finally feel, like myself." I smiled folding up some clothes.
"Well good, because I don't want anyone else as my future sister in law." She winked at me and I rolled my eyes.
"You do realize it's barely about to be one year since we've been together. Everyone needs to slow their roll." I laughed, shoving her playfully.
"I'm just saying. If you all break up, whoever is next has big shoes to fill."
I rolled my eyes playfully and zipped up my bag, "Well let's hope no one else comes along."
Gemma laughed and I noticed she was fiddling with something in her hands. "Um, I got you something. Wanted to give it to you now rather than later." She handed me a small white box.
I sat next to her on the bed and opened it, inside was a dainty necklace, with a small name placard attached spelling out "Daylily." I smiled small, running my finger along it.
"Thank you, Gemma." I pulled it out and carefully put it on, "Harry told you?" I said softly.
"Yeah, I thought it was beautiful. I just wanted to wait until the right time." She smiled at me and I leaned over, both of us hugging each other.

I was in the kitchen learning how to make Anne's signature chicken noodle soup when Harry got there. He walked into the kitchen and gave his mom and kiss on the cheek before walking over to me and doing the same.
"So what are we feeding me?" He smirked as he sat down.
"Nothing if you don't help us cut up those carrots there." Anne pointed at the carrots on the table.
"But I just got in, I'm tired." He pouted and I couldn't help but roll my eyes and laugh.
He bit his lip in a way that excited me, I couldn't help it. After so long, I was so happy I could still make him react a certain way, "Come on Harold, it's team effort." I smirked.
"Why ain't Gemma here then?"
"Cause she's out buying the chicken we forgot. See. Team effort." I said matter of factly and Harry rolled his eyes.
He began cutting the carrots muttering under his breath and Anne and I both laughed.
"So, you are staying at Harry's starting tonight? And when do you all leave again?" Anne asked, cutting up the rest of the onion.
"Yes and we leave on Sunday. So, just here through the rest of the week." I smiled softly, moving the celery into a small bowl.
"Oh Maggie, I'm going to miss you. I got so used to having you around." She leaned over, her head on mine.
"I'm going to miss you too Anne. Thank you, again. For everything by the way." I smiled as she handed me the bowl of chopped up onions to place on the side.
"Anything for you dear." She smiled.
I turned to catch Harry staring at us with a stupid smile of his face. I missed that smile. The one that never knew exactly what it was meant to be. It was when he was at his most happiest.
Anne excused herself for a brief minute, and I walked over to Harry, who turned his body so I could stand between his legs. He wrapped his hands around my waist and I kissed his forehead softly.
"I can't wait to finally get you to myself." He whispered softly.
"I can't wait either Harry." I smiled, kissing his forehead again.
