"Good Morning Miss Vaux" the employees greeted and bow their heads as the highest executive of the company enters, she's wearing a black suit and hair tidied up, behind her were the higher ups of the company.

"Wow. I didn't know that Miss Vaux has this elegant and tough presence that makes everyone turn their heads on her" a new hire employee blurted as his eyes were following the CEO.

"Yes she is. And she's perfectionist, and strict. So if you want to stay longer, better do your work properly" an old employee spoke, sending shivers to the new hire.

"I heard she's brutal when it comes to presentations. She only smiles when she likes the presentation but it only happens once in a blue moon." another employee spoke, making the new hire to open his mouth in nervousness.

"She's scary?" the new hire asked with fear in his eyes, the old employee let out a chuckle seeing the face he's making that they also wear back then when they were just starting at Prisme Fashion and Jewelry, the company owned by the Vaux's.

"Scary, but kind" the employee spoke and went back to her work.

..

As Vaux entered her office, she sat down on her chair and sighed. She put her head down and massaged it with her finger.

The door opens so she lifts up her head. A man walks towards her, a middle aged man. Her Dad, and the owner of this company.

"How's your morning?" he asked as he stared at his daughter who tilted her head and sighed.

"Already tiring. Why are you here Dad? Got some work for me?" she spoke, her Dad shakes his head from the sarcastic reply of his daughter.

"Your mom was bugging me to convince you to stay at our house. It's just for a week. She misses you, Louvain" her Dad spoke and waits for her answer.

"Fine, I'll go there after work. And only for a week" Louvain spoke, her Dad smiled and nodded his head.

"This is a favor from your Mom, Jax Louvain" her Dad spoke, Jax nodded her head while smiling.

"I know, Dad" Jax spoke and turns her eyes to her table full of works.

"I see you have lots of work to do. I'll be at my office if you needed me, as the owner of this company and as your father" her Dad spoke and smile. Jax looked at her Dad and flashes a smile.

"Yes, Dad" she spoke and turns to the documents. Mr. Vaux left her daughter but stop midway and looked back,

"I forgot. Tomorrow, you'll be meeting someone" her Dad spoke, Jax looked at him and dismay was visible.

"Again? How many times will you send me to blind dates, Dad? I told you, I don't like meeting people. I'm already busy with work, can't I just focus on that?" Jax spoke and raised her brows, her Dad let out a giggle seeing his daughter being so done with him sending her to dates numerous times.

"But you still have to marry someone. You're already at that age, and my dearest friend has a daughter. So, we'll meet them tomorrow dinner. Prepare yourself, and don't disrespect her or her parents, Jax. Are we clear on that?" her Dad spoke raising a brow, Jax sighed in defeat and nodded her head.

"Don't ditch, okay?" her Dad added that sends her a giggle, her Dad left.

"Like I have a choice" she mumbled and do her work.

Her Dad sent her to numerous blind dates, and she's tired with it. She don't like meeting people, and she don't like talking to people. That's why she hates going on blind dates, even ditched some.
