This Will Last

Today is the day, I will marry the woman that I never thought would make me soft, but only for her. For the record, this would be our second wedding, it's true but this one is more special. This one is mutual, this one is not forced, this one was because of love and not because of anything. This one, is the wedding that is because I want to spend the rest of my life with her, Arielle Cassandra Rousseau.

I saw her walking down the isle on the arm of her father. She's wearing that beautiful dress that looks gorgeous on her. She's wearing a smile that never fails to give me strange feelings. Finally, this time has arrived.

Seeing her taking her time as she walks, it made me feel surreal. I know to myself that I will marry her, still being in this situation made me feel so happy.

That gorgeous lady would soon be Arielle Cassandra Vaux, my wife. And the only person I allow to break all my rules.

Arielle Pov
I am having mixed feelings right now, I'm excited, happy and nervous. I saw Jax waiting for me at the front, I remember the first time we were like this too, but the difference is that, she's looking at me like I was the only person she sees. And that gaze of hers makes me feel giddy as I walk down the isle.

"You're both lucky to find each other again" Dad whispered to me while smiling, I smiled and agrees with him with all my heart. I'm so lucky that she was the person I got arranged before. Even though we don't have feelings back then, she still treated me like we were partners for a long time.

And as my dad and I were just few walks away from the person I'm gonna marry, my heart was beating loud and fast. I cannot believe that I will marry her, the person that I fell in love with, the coldest person I have ever known, but soft only for me.

"I know you will take care of her, Jax. You proved it to me numerous times" my Dad spoke as he handed me to Jax.

Jax smiled and hold my hand, and as we were walking at the center.

"You're gorgeous" she whispered which made me smile. We stand on the center and this...our wedding...will start.

The ceremony starts as the officiant made the welcome speech.

"Welcome to all who have gathered here this day to share in this marriage ceremony of Jax Louvain Vaux and Arielle Cassandra Rousseau" he spoke and the guests, especially Daniele was clapping so loud, that made Jax to suppress her giggle at her best friend's tactics on her own wedding.

"We are not here to witness the beginning of their relationship, but to acknowledge and celebrate a lasting bond that already exists between them." at then, Jax glanced at Arielle and felt so lucky,

"The ceremonial union of two people in marriage, in its primordial form, is as ancient as our very humanity and yet is still as fresh as each day's sunrise. The commitment of love between Jax Louvain and Arielle Cassandra speaks of their shared experience together and their dreams for the future, of the importance of each of them as individuals as well as the special bond they share, and of the importance of their community of family and friends."

"Everyone gathered here today was invited to this ceremony because you have played a special role in Jax and Arielle's lives. You are present at this ceremony to celebrate their marriage and to witness their vows of love to one another."

the officiant then looked at the couple to be married,

"And Jax and Arielle, have you come here today with the intention to be legally joined in marriage? Do you pledge to choose respect, kindness, and compassion toward one another, to listen deeply to one other, and to speak to one another truthfully, today and always?" the officiant spoke, both Jax and Arielle showed a smile that means more at this moment,
