Kurt sat in his home silently, watching some random cooking show, obviously bored. As soon as a knock sounded at his front door he turned it off, hurrying to his door. He opened it and grinned to find his best friend, Lucy, standing in front of himself. Lucy turned around, waving to somebody in the car behind her. Kurt only saw the back of that somebody's head as they drove off. Kurt opened the door wider, letting Lucy in.

"Who was that?" Kurt asked as he closed the door behind them. Lucy smiled, turning to Kurt.

"My brother, he wanted to drop me off since he was on the way to the airport to pick up my mom." She told him, walking over to the couch Kurt was previously sitting on. Kurt sat beside her.

"I've never met your brother, you know, and I've known you for.. God knows how long now." Kurt informed her. Lucy nodded, looking at him.

"I know, he's just always busy with his music and stuff." Lucy said, adjusting her shoes. Kurt shrugged, allowing his smile to grow again. He stood and took her hands.

"Let's go shopping." He told her, pulling her up. He watched as Lucy's face instantly lit up.

"Sounds fantastic!" She squealed. Kurt beamed as he lead her outside to his car.

After they finished shopping, Kurt drove Lucy back to her home. They probably spent hours, and hours shopping. But it was getting dark so they both agreed it was time to head home. Kurt stopped in front of her house. They both got out, closing their doors in unison. Kurt was going to go home and make dinner for his father and himself, but Lucy insisted he ate over. Kurt quickly texted his old man, telling him where he was, just in case. Lucy walked to her front door, Kurt following close behind. She knocked on the door, and after a few moments somebody came to answer it. They were greeted with a warm smile, which belonged to Lucy's mother.

"Hi, mom!" Lucy chirped happily, hugging her mother tightly.

"Hello, Pam!" Kurt greeted her, his smile growing wider then its ever been.

"Oh, Kurt honey! It's been so long... Too long." Pam said, leading Kurt inside. He looked around the house, which was always very, very clean. Kurt noticed a few changes, though. A piano was sitting in their main room, making Kurt smile. Lucy didn't know how to play any instruments. Maybe her brother did?

"Are you staying for dinner?" Pam asked politely. Kurt turned towards her, nodding. Kurt thought about Lucy's brother as Pam guided him to their dining room. Lucy was a beautiful girl. She had long, dark brown hair, that's normally curly, but she likes it straight. She had deep chocolate eyes- His thoughts were interrupted as they came to a stop. Kurt took a seat at the table.

"Blaine! Dinner's ready!" Pam yelled out in the hallway. Kurt tilted his head at the name she called. She watched as a boy walked into the room, holding a bunch of what looked like sheet music. He set them down on a table in the corner and turned towards them. Kurt's heart instantly went faster, he sat up straighter. Lucy's brother was gorgeous. He had curly dark brown hair, like Lucy's, and beautiful hazel eyes. He was wearing a tight-fitted t-shirt with sweatpants. Kurt inhaled sharply as his gaze met his. He felt his face redden and turned away. All he could think was, Damn.
