Kurt looked around the room, panicking. She hadn't said anything for what felt like forever. Sharp objects? Nope. He would be good unless she decided to strangle him. Yeah, that wouldn't be good. Kurt felt as if Lucy was burning holes into his head, her tense was intense and sharp, possibly unforgiving.

The front door opened and Blaine burst through, a ton of grocery bags tumbling to the ground. Blaine looked at his sister, and everything fell silent. You could hear a water drip from the faucet in the kitchen.

"Who kissed who first?" Lucy whispered sharply. That tone was the most terrifying things the boys had ever heard. Kurt looked at Blaine, urging him to say so. A slight scowl crossed Blaine's features.

"I kissed him first." Blaine murmured quietly. They were both scared, because they both knew very well what Lucy could do. Lucy stood, folding her arms over her chest, she looked at Kurt, her stare cold.

"Get out." She said sharply. Kurt's eyes widened at how pissed off she was, and quickly hurried for the door, meeting his gaze with Blaine's. Blaine's gaze was as apologetic as it could possibly get. Kurt opened the door and slid out, running as fast as he could back to his home.

Tears stung at his eyes as he threw his door open. Kurt stumbled inside, slamming it shut behind him. His whole body shook at the loud sound.

He had never, ever seen Lucy that mad. Kurt was actually short of breath once he was up in his room. He dug around in his coat pocket for his phone, pulling it out eventually. He looked down at his phone, his heart sinking to the bottom of his ribcage. No new notifications.

Hopefully it would all be better tomorrow, at school. Kurt felt a wave of frustration hit him as he remembered that Lucy was his partner for a project and she had everything. He collapsed onto his bed and hoped that it would all be better the next day.

Kurt arrived at school, looking around for Blaine's car, which was missing from the colorful parking lot. Kurt hurried into the school and to his locker, glancing around, keeping an eye out for the Anderson siblings. He watched as neat, curly hair entered through the doorway. Blaine's hair wasn't gelled like it usually is when he's at school, but it was still neat. Lucy followed close behind, her lips pressed into a small line. Blaine walked over to his locker, watching Lucy brush past, her shoulder hitting him roughly. Still pissed. Blaine sighed, turning back to his locker, and Kurt did the same when he found Lucy approaching himself. He busied himself, putting things in his locker and taking a book out. Lucy stopped beside him, still wearing the same expression.

"I have the project with me, so don't worry about that." She said, still slightly angered. Kurt turned to her to meet her stare, which was oddly blank.

"I don't want you to see my brother anymore." She whispered, walking off. Kurt was completely unfazed, he was expecting it, anyway. Kurt shifted his gaze back to Blaine, who was quickly making his way over to him.

"Kurt, sorry, I lost my phone under all my papers on my desk." Blaine rushed, his words mixing together slightly.

"Can you come over after school?" Kurt asked, biting his lip. Blaine stood there for a few seconds, then slowly nodded.

"We'll talk then." Blaine murmured, walking off. The Andersons were acting odd. He was expecting Blaine to act cool and calm about it, because normally he is cool and calm about things like this, but he seemed so rushed and his concentration seemed absent. Lucy had seemed completely emotionless. But Kurt would have to hold his curiosity in till the end of the day.

Kurt waited on his couch for the doorbell to ring. It was about an hour after school, and Kurt was very, very curious. He almost wanted to shake Blaine during lunch until answers fell out of his mouth, but he didn't. He instantly jumped up, running over to his door, opening it, looking at Blaine. Blaine smiled sweetly, stepping inside. Kurt closed the door quickly.

   "Spill. Everything." He demanded.
Once Blaine finished explaining Kurt stared at him for a few seconds.

"So you aren't supposed to be here?" Kurt asked. Blaine nodded.

"She "forbids" me from seeing you, but I think it's bull." Blaine sighed, leaning back against a wall.

"That still doesn't explain why you two have been acting differently." Kurt said with a raised eyebrow. Blaine rubbed his eyes, looking back at Kurt.

"My dad isn't dead." He said slowly. Kurt stared at him silently. Mr. Anderson had been in a car crash, everyone was told he was dead, it was very devastating for everybody who knew the man, and him not being dead really woke Kurt up.

"Well... Well I have to talk to Lucy, then!" Kurt rushed, going to open the door. Blaine shook his head, meeting Kurt's hand at the doorknob.

   "Give it time." He murmured.
