Kurt spent his time catching up with Pam, and getting to know Blaine.

"Blaine goes to Dalton Academy." Lucy added to our conversation. Blaine merely nodded, finishing his salad.

"Blaine usually isn't this quiet, either." Pam said, looking at Blaine with narrowed eyes. Kurt laughed silently, leaning back in his chair. He glanced over at Blaine once more before he picked up his plate and glass, walking to the kitchen. He walked back into the room to find Pam and Lucy in another room, only leaving Blaine to clean everything up. Kurt rushed to help him clean up, for it was a lot of work for one person.

"Oh, thanks, Kurt." Blaine said softly. That was the first time he had said anything the entire evening.

"No problem." Kurt responded quietly, helping him carry everything into the kitchen.

As soon as they finished cleaning they joined Pam and Lucy in their main room. Blaine took a seat in an armchair in the corner of the room, looking through multiple sheets of music. Kurt took a seat next to Lucy, watching Blaine with an eyebrow raised. Lucy noticed his confusion soon after.

"He has an audition tomorrow and he still doesn't know what he's going to play." She informed him. Kurt nodded, looking away. A few minutes later Blaine stood.

"I've got it!" He yelled in triumph. Everybody just stared at him, Kurt blinked. Blaine smiled and started for his room.

"Oh, Blaine, you shouldn't practice in your room, you should practice in front of us all!" Pam announced happily. Blaine paused, then turned towards us.

"I'd love to hear it, and I'm sure Kurt would, he loves music." Lucy told him, smiling softly. Kurt watched as Blaine slowly walked over to the piano and sat down, setting the sheet music in front of himself. Kurt waited patiently. As soon as Blaine began to play his jaw dropped. He watched as Blaine's fingers moved across the keys, creating a beautiful sound as they mixed together. Kurt listened carefully, his eyes wide.

It was some day in the summer, 11 years ago it seemed, Kurt was sitting next to his best friend, Lucy, in their home. They both watched as a curly haired boy tapped out the melody to what seemed to be "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." The entire Anderson and Hummel family watched as he played. Mr. Anderson watched his son, you could tell he was proud by the way he sat and watched. Once the curly haired boy finished he turned towards his audience, pride evident in his eyes. Everybody clapped, Lucy went over to hug her brother.

  "Good job, Blaine!"

As soon as Blaine stopped playing Kurt snapped back to reality. So I have met Blaine before... He thought to himself. Pam and Lucy clapped, as did Kurt.

"You'll definitely get it!" Lucy reassured him. Kurt tilted his head.
"What is he auditioning for?" He asked. Blaine turned towards him.

"A uhm.. Audition for this junior symphony thing." He told him, his lips turning up into a half smile. Man, that smile could literally kill anybody who saw it. Kurt felt his face redden and he turned to the clock. 9:50pm. Kurt's eyes widened.

"Oh, shoot, I've got to get going, it was nice to see you all!" Kurt said, giving Lucy and Pam a hug, he awkwardly waved at Blaine and left.
