✈️ Chapter 17 ✈️

After they returned from Singapore, Jungkook no longer saw Jin, he also had a hard time contacting Jin and of course that worried him. That day Jungkook had to fly from Seoul to Japan and back to Seoul, a short flight that day.

He came earlier as usual hoping that day he would meet Jin but the crew room was empty, there was no one but him. He tried to call Jin, but the number couldn't be reached.

Until one of the crew came, Hoseok, they greeted each other.

"Hoseok"

"yes captain"

"I never saw Jin after coming back from Singapore, do you know what happened to him?"

"He take a day off capt"

"Day off? Do you know how long?"

"I don't know capt"

"Oh ok thank you Hoseok"

The flight was boring, because Jin wasn't there. He felt there was something strange about Jin, Jin must be hiding something from him.

It was almost midnight Jungkook arrived at his house, of course his wife welcomed him as usual, but this time something was different. His wife approached him with a very happy face and a small box in her hand.

"Jieun what's wrong? Why do you look so happy?"

"I have a surprise for you, open this" Jieun gave the small box to her husband.

"What's this?"

"Open it" Jieun kept smiling looking at her husband and when Jungkook opened the box, he was surprised to see a test pack with two lines in the middle.

"What does this mean?" Jungkook looked at his wife.

"You're going to be a father, I'm pregnant" Jieun immediately hugged Jungkook who was surprised at that time, but strangely he felt guilty about what was happening now. He didn't even hug his wife then, he still couldn't digest it properly.

"What's wrong Jungkook? Aren't you happy?" Jieun let go of his hand and looked at Jungkook.

"Ahh of course I'm happy, I just still can't believe this is happening, thank you Jieun" Jieun hugged her husband again and Jungkook hugged him back.

"I love you Jungkook"

"I love you too"

He felt compelled to tell Jin about this, but how did he do it, Jin was so hard to contact, he didn't even turn on his phone.

That night he had mixed feelings. He kept calling Jin but only the operator's voice could be heard.

"Hey" Jieun's voice startled him, he almost dropped the phone when he turned around to see his wife walking towards him.

"Why haven't you slept yet? You said you have an early flight, it's already 2 am you will be tired if you don't sleep"

"I will sleep in the crew room while waiting for boarding"

"What are you thinking about?"

"Jieun, are you okay? I mean, you're pregnant and I'm not by your side"

"Of course, I've been fine so far."

"Yes but this time it's different, you're not only alone but we have our baby in your tummy"

"I like hearing you say that" Jieun walked over to Jungkook and hugged him, resting his head on Jungkook's chest.

"Me and our baby will be fine, we will always be waiting for you here, so you should return safely, hm?" Jungkook just nodded and hugged his wife.

Long flight to Los Angeles, Jungkook came to the airport early, it's been his habit since long ago and plus now there's someone waiting for him there. With every step he took he wished Jin would come and they could meet.

They haven't seen each other for almost two weeks and that's enough to irritate Jungkook. But that day, when Jungkook opened the door to the crew room, a beautiful smile from the person he was waiting for greeted him. Jin immediately ran to Jungkook and hugged him tightly. Jungkook hugged Jin as if he didn't want to let go again, he missed Jin so much.

"Where have you been? I really miss you Jin"

"I'm sorry, I missed you too" Jungkook immediately kissed Jin's lips gently, enjoying every touch of his lips. Lips that will always make him addicted. Which always makes him fall in love.

When Jungkook tried to touch Jin's ass, Jin stopped him.

"Stopp, I want to say something" Jin broke the kiss and brought Jungkook to sit on the sofa right beside him.

"What do you want to say?"

"How are you and your wife?"

"Jin.."

"It's okay"

"Fine, actually I tried to contact you because I have something to say, it's about my wife"

"What's wrong with your wife? She's okay right? You guys are okay right?" Jin looks worried when Jungkook talks about his wife.

Jungkook took a deep breath before he finally said everything.

"My wife is pregnant" Jin's heart broke at that moment, his eyes filled with tears when he heard what Jungkook said, it was very shocking but he had no right to be angry.

"Ohh congrats Jungkook, you're going to be a father"

"Jin--"

"It's okay, I'm glad you finally have a child with Jieun" Jin just smiled in front of Jungkook, his heart hurt a lot.

"Then what do you want to say?"

"Ahh it's not important, actually I just wanted to say I miss you"

"Are you sure?" Jin nodded.

"I forgot, I have to call my mother first, she must be waiting for a call from me" Jin got up from the sofa and left the crew room. Walking towards the toilet with his heart aching and tears falling down his cheeks, he wiped them away.

Arriving at the toilet he went into the cubicle, closed the closet and sat there. He lowered his head and cried while holding his stomach.

"I'm sorry, I have to do it again, I'm sorry"
